The Band Loula
Embodying the soil and grit of North Georgia, The Band Loula brings a swampy and haunting acoustic spirit to their instantly transfixing country. Two best friends, each an artist in their own right, Malachi Mills and Logan Simmons sought to evoke a new aesthetic. Raw harmonies, signature chemistry and a hard-touring ethos has infused the duo &#8211; signed to Warner Music Nashville and currently in the studio with Grammy-winning Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne &#8211; with an electricity that’s charged with desire, betrayal and yearning. WHYNOT
WHYNOT is an alt country band made up of siblings Jenna, Ben, and KK Johnson. Originally from Meridian, MS, they have now built a name for themselves in Nashville, TN. With influences ranging from Nickel Creek, Avril Lavigne, The Beatles, Taylor Swift, and The Chicks; you are sure to find connection within their raw, harmony driven songs.
All three members of the band are multi-instrumental songwriters who have written multiple number ones across several genres for artists including Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Nate Smith, Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice, David Guetta, Thomas Rhett, Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth, Justin Timberlake, Bailey Zimmerman and Big X tha Plug. Bryan Simpson
Modern American eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Simpson is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country and indie eclecticism, with the playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection of his heroes which include John Hartford, Tom T Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and of course Bob Dylan.
Bryan’s songs have netted praise from all corners: The Huffington Post wrote “Bryan’s original undertakings are reminiscent of the whimsical and whip-smart work by David Byrne and Jim James”. While SeattlePi claims Simpson’s music echoes “Bowie, and Beck in the melodies, moods, and arrangements. The quest is entertaining and thought-provoking.” His genre-spanning career has included making records and touring as a singer/songwriter with luminaries as diverse as The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, bluegrass giant Ricky Skaggs and Mumford and Sons. Since leaving his hometown of Ft Worth Texas with only a fiddle, guitar, mandolin and a box fan to his name, Simpson has had many of his original songs recorded by country music standouts like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Hailey Whitters, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brandy Clark, Old Dominion, Stephen Wilson Jr., with several of them ending up with a number 1 beside their name on the Billboard and Music Row charts . He has also been awarded NSAI’s prestigious award of “10 Songs I wish I’d Written”. His songs have easily totaled over 500 million streams at this point.
This year Simpson released his first record under his own name. “The Oldest”, released in April, is a concise 11 songs in length, produced by Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan/Brandi Carlisle) and takes Simpson’s shade tree kaleidoscopic storytelling center stage.

<h3 class="headline">Mo Pitney &amp; Country Outdoors Present: Artists Against Trafficking a Benefit for Rahab House. Hosted by Mary O’Neill Phillips</h3>
Mo Pitney
Mo Pitney is a Country and Bluegrass artist rooted in the tradition of the art form that he loves. Though born in Cherry Valley, Illinois, his ancestors brought southern storyteller/gospel music from the hills of Missouri and Arkansas and he found himself drawn to any style of music that found its origin from the same place his past family drew from.  He was signed to Curb Records at age 19 and has made two solo country projects as well as a Bluegrass collaboration with a group called Pitney Meyer . He is now nearing the completion of his third Country album set to be released in the spring. Along with music ministry, he is the co-founder and chair of the board of an anti-Human trafficking ministry called Rehab House as he seeks to make everything he does benefit the kingdom of heaven by way of serving ”the least of these”.  Above all else, what is most important to him is his marriage to his wife, Emily, and being a present father to his three children, and making sure that all he does abides in the Vine, who is Jesus Christ.
​​​​Wyatt McCubbin
Wyatt McCubbin is a singer-songwriter originally from southwestern Ohio where he began writing songs &amp; playing shows at an early age. As a performer Wyatt has opened for artists such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., Dwight Yoakam among others. Since moving to Nashville his songs have been recorded by Luke Combs, Zach Top, Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Chase Rice, Cody Johnson, Kameron Marlowe &amp; many more. In 2024 he celebrated his first radio single as a songwriter with Zach Top’s debut radio single, “Sounds Like The Radio” and  was included in Music Row Magazine’s list for Top Songwriters Of 2024.
Drake White
Drake White grew up singing in his church youth choir in Alabama before becoming one of Country music’s most spirited innovators, earning four Top 40 hits and traveling the country on multiple nationwide tours. His 2013 debut single “Simple Life” introduced his brand of Country soul, which he cemented with 2016 debut album SPARK followed by the EPs ‘Pieces’ and ‘Stars.’
In August 2019, he collapsed on stage due to a hemorrhagic stroke, and doctors told him he might never perform again. After undergoing a series of operations to repair his Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) and months of physiotherapy, White has proved them wrong, embarking on his The Optimystic Tour to spread his incredible positivity to his fans. New songs “Power of a Woman” and “Giants” are the latest tastes of new music from White, who has received accolades including Rolling Stone’s 10 Country Artists You Need to Know, The Grammy’s Artist of Tomorrow and the British CMA Awards’ International Song of the Year. He has shared the bill with Country music superstars like Luke Bryan, Eric Church and Zac Brown Band.

Human trafficking is a heartbreaking reality in Tennessee, with thousands of lives marked by exploitation, abuse, and abandonment. Behind every number is a story in need of rescue, refuge, and lasting restoration.
Rahab House is a Christian nonprofit ministry called to answer that need. Rooted in Christ, we provide immediate safety, meet urgent tangible needs, and connect survivors to restorative care. Our work extends beyond a survivor’s exit, offering safe housing, personal support, and connection to the Body of Christ through a local church community.

Dallas Moore
Dallas Moore  is a multi award winning singer-songwriter and entertainer based out of San Antonio, Texas who has earned a reputation as “The Hardest Working Man In Honky Tonk” and a “Modern Day Hardcore Troubadour,” by taking his raucous and rowdy live show on the road over 300 dates a year.
With a career spanning over 25 years and 17 albums, Moore has garnered the reverence of multiple generations who consider him to be the torchbearer for the Outlaw Country flame. Having toured with most all of the original architects of the Outlaw Country and Southern Rock movements respectively, Dallas Moore is the real deal. Turning their influence into inspiration and bridging the gap between the founding fathers of the genre and creating music for a new generation of Honky Tonk Heroes. Dallas Moore’s 18th album “Gems &amp; Jams” was released on SOL Records in August, 2024

Daryl Wayne Dasher
Daryl Wayne Dasher is a Tennessee based singer/songwriter who brings a fresh and organic approach to Country and Folk Music. His lyrics often revolve around social consciousness, the great outdoors, personal conflict, and love. His enthusiasm for his craft is infectious and his live shows are guaranteed to leave you with a more positive attitude.
In 2020, Dasher was forced to cancel most of his live shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but found a way to keep moving forward during the quarantine. He started playing a livestream show via his Facebook page every week called “Friday Night Quarantunes” and has amassed thousands of views and many new fans because of this. The free-will donations from these shows helped to finance a new studio album, engineered by Zach Kasic at Wild Feather Recordings in Hendersonville, TN with an astounding cast of musicians, including Lorenzo Molina Ruiz (The Mavericks), Daniel Seymour (David Olney), Jim Van Cleve (Mountain Home/Doyle Lawson), Nashville A-List session pedal steel player Scotty Sanders, and many more.
His passion for music and for humanity sweats out of him during every single performance. In a new world where people have virtually limitless choices of music, art, and entertainment, it is important to find a way to stand out. GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde cut her teeth playing country songs in biker bars – and it shows. The Grand Ole Opry member’s 2018 major label debut Girl Going Nowhere (Warner Music Nashville) charmed The New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, Paste, The Washington Post and more, all en route to landing a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. McBryde closed out 2019 with ACM New Female Artist, CMT Breakout Artist, a New Artist of the Year win at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards and two nominations for the 2020 GRAMMYs for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” Follow-up Never Will was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated of the year alongside NPR, who also ranked her Top 10 RIAA Platinum-Certified single “One Night Standards” as one of the best songs of 2019. Kate Voegele is an LA based singer/songwriter, recording artist, and content creator. She is also an actress, starring on the hit CW show &#8216;One Tree Hill,&#8217; a painter, and business owner of the blog and lifestyle company, We The Dreamers.
Along with playing thousands of shows while touring internationally for the last decade, Voegele has released 4 studio albums to date, selling over 500,000 copies in total and racking up millions of streams. In addition to her most recent release, “The Best Part (French Version),” a single in collaboration with indie band Bien, Kate has recently released several singles with her band, Your Future Ghost, in anticipation of a debut album drop this summer.

Tyler Hilton
From portraying Elvis Presley in Walk the Line and garnering a cult following as musician Chris Keller on the CW hit TV show One Tree Hill, to writing and touring with the likes of Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Joe Cocker, Tyler Hilton has enjoyed an award-winning career spanning music, film and television.
Born and raised in California, Tyler grew up in a family of talented musicians who had played for acts like Fleetwood Mac, George Harrison and Donovan. Performing with his family from an early age, Hilton became serious about songwriting at 14. At 15, he called into L.A.’s KLOS radio station to win
concert tickets and ended up wowing the hosts with an on-air performance. The station made him a regular guest and helped launch his debut record, which caught the ear of Warner Bros. Records, who signed him to record his second album The Tracks of Tyler Hilton, earning him two Top 40 singles.

Joe Hanson and Chris Ray may have taken different roads to Nashville – Joe migrating south from Illinois and Chris heading north from Mississippi – but when they started crossing paths in Music Row writing rooms, the fast friends soon realized how much they had in common. Both 
were multi-instrumentalists who’d grown up singing in church and with a musical DNA that also incorporated country and soulful pop. When Joe and Chris began to harmonize vocally, the power, precision and emotional impact of that blend quickly revealed that these two men were born to sing  together. Converging as 2 Lane Summer, the duo built a strong fan base on  social media before now signing with Quartz Hill Records. Dusty Black

Annie Bosko

Matt Cooper
Hailing from Jacksonville, FL, Matt Cooper is a genre-blending country artist whose fresh, compelling sound features elements of Americana, roots-pop and faith-based music. Cooper, like many of us, has firsthand experience. While he was scoring a breakout streaming hit with “Ain’t Met Us Yet,” Cooper was also coping with his mother’s battle with cancer. He and his father, and his two younger brothers, were caregivers during the final years of his mom’s life. When she died in 2023, Cooper was lost, questioning both his future and his faith in God. Ben Gallaher
Ben Gallaher fires twin barrels of melody-driven country music and heartland rock and roll with his new EP, Bullet, scheduled for release on May 9. Produced by Neil and Patrick Thrasher, Bullet is the latest release from a self-taught, modern-day guitar hero who hit the highway as a teenager, kickstarting an acclaimed career that has since taken the songwriter from small-town Pennsylvania — where he grew up listening to ’90s acts like Brooks &amp; Dunn, Tim McGraw and BlackHawk — to stages across the country opening for the likes of Blake Shelton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr, Lee Brice and more.

Spencer Hatcher
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, Hatcher was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, he formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and in 2024, often setting venue attendance records.
Hatcher has also built a strong fanbase, including 870,000 social media followers. He has amassed over 60 million views, including 8.5 million likes on TikTok alone. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
While Hatcher is still known as a “banjo shredder,” he’s now equally renowned for guitar picking and his unique vocals with a smooth southern drawl. Lakelin Lemmings
When you hear Lakelin Lemmings sing for the first time, you can’t help but feel like you’ve been listening to her forever. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from West Tennessee is utterly approachable, and undeniably herself. She’s the all-American girl next door, with big dreamsand the talent to achieve them.

Chris Andreucci
Scottish-born Chris Andreucci is a British Country Music Award-nominated songwriter and country artist based in Nashville, TN.
Dubbed as “Scotland’s Best Country Music Artist” by Capital FM, his most successful release to date is &#8220;Tamed by Tennessee,&#8221; a duet with fellow Scottish artist and actor Callum Kerr. The song achieved over 5 million global streams within the first six months of its release, solidifying his place as a rising star in the country music scene.
He has opened for artists like George Thorogood &amp; the Destroyers, Luke Combs, and Ashley McBryde, and was nominated for ‘Single of The Year’ &amp; ‘Male Artist of The Year’ at the British CMAs in 2023.
Chris is now a Nashville resident and a published songwriter, with credits spanning genres beyond country music. His latest songwriting credit is a track titled &#8220;More Tennessee&#8221; by actor &amp; country artist Callum Kerr.
He has performed at iconic venues like The Bluebird Cafe and the &#8216;Whiskey Jam&#8217; stage, and recently had a ten-night residency at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Chris is now one of the two resident artists at the legendary Nashville venue, Losers Bar, where he has shared the stage with Post Malone, Chris Young, Nate Smith, Morgan Wallen, and PGA golf legend John Daly.
His music reflects a fusion of Scottish and Nashville influences, drawing inspiration from artists like Bruce Springsteen, Paolo Nutini, and Eric Church. His notable releases include “Let Her” (2024), &#8220;Written In Rock&#8221; (2023), &#8220;To The Moon &amp; Back&#8221; (2023), &#8220;Strangers in a Bar&#8221; (2022), and &#8220;Killin&#8217; Time&#8221; (2021), all available on major streaming platforms.
Cody Atkins
With a sound and style of Merle Haggard, George Jones, Keith Whitley and alike,  Cody Atkins puts new life into old school Country music.  The Newport, Virginia-native, moved to Nashville in 2013 after studying music at East Tennessee University and  has been performing ever since.
Atkins began playing guitar at the age of 10, inspired by his uncle Gene Atkins, an accomplished guitar player. Cody discovered the greats like Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin, George Jones, Don Williams, Keith Whitley, Randy Travis and Alan Jackson, all the while  honing his craft as a guitar player and singer.
Cody performs in clubs and venues around Nashville as well as on the road. When not performing live he write songs with some of Music City’s to hit songwriters.
Chris Hatfield
Chris Hatfield has been in the music industry since 2000, beginning in the piano bars playing drums, he slowly ventured into playing piano and songwriting. Moving to Nashville in 2009, Chris began going to see friends play at writers rounds and starting writing on a regular basis. Completing two albums while in Nashville, he still writes today, plays piano in a band and sings every chance he gets, including anchoring weekend slots at Chief’s on Broadway.
Jeff Holbrook
Jeff Holbrook is an American singer-songwriter and guitar player. Raised in Allentown, NJ, Jeff grew up working construction with his father in the family’s construction company. At the age of 21, Holbrook packed his bags and a guitar bound for Nashville where he continues to refine his sonic fingerprint and move people through his music.

Citing herself an “old soul,” the 20-year-old has been singing and writing songs her entire life. With a longstanding passion for writing poetry, she weaves this aesthetic into her songwriting today. Based in Nashville, TN, this is just the beginning for KINSLEY as she readies music to reach audiences everywhere.
Chloe Lawson
Although she comes from small town southern roots, Chloe’s style lends itself to more of an LA pop scene. Chloe signed a publishing deal with Mixtape Music Group in January 2021, and has released many songs as an artist, including 2024’s “Breakup.”

William Michael Morgan has only just arrived in his mid twenties, but with a love of Country music deeper than The Big River itself. The Mississippi native is the very definition of an old soul. His pristine Southern vocal,timeless sound and honest lyric represents a new generation of hit makers in Music City; a modern day descendant of artists like Randy Travis, Alan Jackson and George Strait.
After signing his major label deal at the tender age of 19, Morgan hit the top of the radio charts, landing at Number-One with the Gold certified “I Met a Girl&#8230;”  He then released an acclaimed EP and earned a Billboard Top-Five  with his 2016 album debut, &#8220;Vinyl.” He has performed more than 50 times on the Grand Ole Opry and was featured by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum as a highlighted artist in the 2017 American Currents exhibit.
But now that he’s a few years older and a few hundred shows wiser, this old soul is looking toward a new horizon.
“I thought our first album was a very good representation of what we do and what we like, so we set the bar really high,” says Morgan of his next batch of country tunes. “My whole message with this project is that I want to show growth not only musically, but also personally.… I feel like now I understand myself, and I understand the music I want to make.”
Produced once again by Scott Hendricks and Jimmy Ritchey, five new tracks show off the man Morgan has become. A hard worker and big-time dreamer, a single father and hopeless romantic, and at his core a pure country stalwart who’s not afraid to embrace the here and now. His new music is still drenched in twang and tenderness, but also infused with fresh energy from across the musical spectrum.
“We tried to diversify on this project,” Morgan says with an easy grin.“That can sound scary, like ‘Oh no, Willy’s changed,’ but it’s not that at all.… I’m from Mississippi, so I’ve got a lot of that rhythm and blues in my soul. I’m influenced by a lot of music. I could be listening to Frank Sinatra and switch over to Barry White, or go from Pink Floyd to the Isley Brothers and AC/DC to Merle Haggard.… We were trying to find a happy medium between what’s current and what we love.”
‍Clearly, Morgan has grown a lot since he first slid into the Music City mainstream. But no matter how much growing he does, some things will never change –– like his passion for sharing country lyrics with pure, raw emotion with the fans who feel the same way.
“I think we all still feel like kids sometimes,” he says. “Every time I hit that stage I go back to my old Mississippi honky&#8211;tonk nights. Those four-hour sets, loading in and loading out in a smoky bar, sneaking a beer or two when mom and dad weren’t looking – just having a good time. Even today, it’s still for the pure joy of it.”

Jamie O’Neal is set to release her sixth studio album, Gypsum, via BFD/Audium Nashville on Jan. 23. The first single from the album, “Ole Heartache,” is out now.
The new 10-song collection includes tracks co-written by O’Neal along with Dean Dillon, Stephanie Bentley, Rob Crosby, Roxie Dean, Ava Suppelsa, Ilya Toshinskiy and more. A highlight of the project is “Flowers &amp; Fireflies,” written by O’Neal’s late sister Samantha Murphy.
“Gypsum is named for the sand dunes in White Sands National Park, one of the most beautiful and serene, other worldly places I’ve ever been to,” said Jamie. “I have an affinity for the west—the mountains, red rocks, sand dunes, and wide open spaces inspired a lot of this album. Bryan Simpson
Modern American eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Simpson is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country and indie eclecticism, with the playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection of his heroes which include John Hartford, Tom T Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and of course Bob Dylan.
Bryan’s songs have netted praise from all corners: The Huffington Post wrote “Bryan’s original undertakings are reminiscent of the whimsical and whip-smart work by David Byrne and Jim James”. While SeattlePi claims Simpson’s music echoes “Bowie, and Beck in the melodies, moods, and arrangements. The quest is entertaining and thought-provoking.” His genre-spanning career has included making records and touring as a singer/songwriter with luminaries as diverse as The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, bluegrass giant Ricky Skaggs and Mumford and Sons. Since leaving his hometown of Ft Worth Texas with only a fiddle, guitar, mandolin and a box fan to his name, Simpson has had many of his original songs recorded by country music standouts like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Hailey Whitters, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brandy Clark, Old Dominion, Stephen Wilson Jr., with several of them ending up with a number 1 beside their name on the Billboard and Music Row charts . He has also been awarded NSAI’s prestigious award of “10 Songs I wish I’d Written”. His songs have easily totaled over 500 million streams at this point.

Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. Tyminski’s voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley
Brother’s classic song, “I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow,” in the film, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou, bringing bluegrass into focus for millions of new fans. His vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey, Brother” was a global smash, having been streamed over 1 billion times to date.
Dan has also contributed guitar and/or harmony to projects by Martina McBride, Reba McEntire,vBrad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Aaron Lewis and RobvThomas, to name a few. In addition to his highly successful solo career, Dan has
played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss &amp; Union Station since 1994. His unmatchedvinstrumental skills and burnished, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band.

Shaun Richardson
Originally hailing from Michigan, where he honed his craft from a young age, Shaun made the move to Nashville while already in-demand for on the road touring and session work. having recorded/shared the stage with a range of artists such as Tyler Booth, TJ Jackson, Sierra Hull, The War &amp; Treaty, Chris Shifflett (of the Foo Fighters),  Jessie James Decker, Ricky Skaggs, Dailey &amp; Vincent, Michael Martin Murphey, and more. Recently, he was hand-picked to be a part of the touring band for Béla Fleck’s: My Bluegrass Heart tour. While also having an active role at multiple recording studios in Nashville, Shaun has been able to contribute his artistic vision to a unique variation of musical projects. With accomplished skills in multi-instrumental musicianship, writing and arranging, and producing, he plays a triple threat in everything he is a part of. There is no doubt that anyone listening to Shaun can identify the expertise and sense the passion and love he has for music.
Sierra Hull
 Sierra Hull is a virtuoso mandolinist, a two-time GRAMMY®-nominated artist, and a groundbreaking songwriter. Recognized for her acclaimed albums 25 Trips (2020) and Weighted Mind (2016), she’s also a six-time IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year &#8211; the first woman to ever receive this honor. A pioneer in acoustic music, Hull has performed on iconic stages like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, and the White House. Her artistry has earned praise and collaboration with legends like Alison Krauss, Béla Fleck, Dolly Parton, Brandi Carlile, and Billy Strings. Hailing from Byrdstown, Tennessee, Hull’s innovative sound is deeply rooted in bluegrass yet continually pushes boundaries.
Thad Cockrell
Thad Cockrell has been releasing music both under his own name and with his band LEAGUES for two decades; while also a collaborative songwriter who has written with the likes of Joy Williams (GRAMMY-nominated album Front Porch), Devon Gilfillian, and Joseph, among others.
Cockrell was personally invited by Jimmy Fallon to perform with The Roots on The Tonight Show, after Fallon discovered Cockrell’s song “Swingin’” by Shazaming it in a hardware store. “It became my anthem,” Fallon said. “Because I’m like, when you want to give up, don’t give up! If you’re going to go down, you go down swingin’! This is my anthem, I love this song.”
Cockrell’s 2020 solo album &#8216;If In Case You Feel the Same,&#8217; which features “Swingin’,” was produced mainly by Tony Berg (career spans Phoebe Bridgers to the Replacements), mixed &amp; engineered by Shawn Everett (Vampire Weekend, Beck, The War on Drugs) and features an all-star backing band throughout &#8211; ATO labelmate Brittany Howard (backing vocals on track “Higher”), Blake Mills (guitar), Chris Dave (drums), Matt Chamberlain (drums), Ethan Gruska (piano, synths), Ian Fitchuk (multiple instruments).
Buoyed by the support of Brittany Howard, whom he first met over a 4a.m. pitcher of homemade margaritas, Cockrell set to work on his first solo effort in over a decade: an album that exposes his deepest insecurities and weaknesses, all for the sake of creating a transcendent connection with the audience.
Trey Hensley
Trey Hensley is a GRAMMY®-nominated musician and singer/songwriter who was voted the 2023 Guitar Player of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association.
He has been referred to as “Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine. In addition to a storied solo career and a duo career with award-winning guitarist Rob Ickes (NPR has called them “two musical phenoms”), Trey has worked with a diverse list of artists including Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Marty Stuart, Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, Taj Mahal, Tommy Emmanuel, Rodney Crowell, Old Crow Medicine Show, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Little Feat, Leftover Salmon and REO Speedwagon.

A recent Nashville review referred to Buddy’s Place as “an excellent alternative to the world-famous Bluebird Café” as a great place to experience live music! This Christmas show has become an annual tradition for many of our regular attendees and supporters. You’ll hear some of your favorite Christmas classics and traditionals as well as some fun sing-along moments too! Our incredibly talented artists will deliver some of their own Christmas originals in the mix too! JP Burr is an in-demand session and touring guitarists as well as an incredibly gifted singer songwriter on his own with a recent string of well received singles! Sister duo Walker County are back for their second Christmas show with us and bring an undeniable magical harmony that only family can deliver. Their recently critically praised Painted Ponies album put the sisters on many music lover’s radars and more great new music is on the way! Hit singer songwriter Adam Hambrick scored #1 hits with Dan &amp; Shay and Justin Moore and has released his own amazing catalogue or original music as well! Singer songwriter Tana Matz has recently spent a lot of time on tour sharing her infectious music with a growing fan base! She’s been a part of 7 of our Christmas events over the years! With new music on the way, we can’t wait to welcome Tana back for another fun night of music with us!

Celebrate the holidays with Emily and her band in the intimate setting of Chief’s Neon Steeple!
Emily West is a multifaceted artist known for her powerful voice, sharp intuition, and passion for authentic connection through story and song. Emily blends emotional intelligence with artistry to create transformative experiences. Whether through live performance, writing, or digital presence, Emily cultivates spaces where vulnerability is strength and self-expression is celebrated. She is devoted to growth, impact, and inspiring others to own their voice with confidence and clarity.
Originally from Waterloo Iowa, Emily moved to Nashville at age 18. Just two weeks later, she was signed to Warner Chappell by Tim Wipperman and Michael Knox. In 2003, she signed a record deal with Capitol Records and gained national attention with “Blue Sky,” a heartfelt ballad she co-wrote with Hall of Fame songwriter Gary Burr. The track featured a duet with Keith Urban and became one of her early career highlights.
After parting ways with Capitol, Emily independently released her EP I Hate You, I Love You, which soared to #2 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts for two consecutive weeks. In 2014, she was invited to perform at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem for the 50th Anniversary celebration of The Beatles’ arrival in America.
With no set plans back in Nashville, Emily remained in New York, where a spontaneous audition led her to the national stage on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Her haunting renditions of “Nights in White Satin” (The Moody Blues), “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” (Roberta Flack), and “Chandelier” (Sia) captivated the judges and the nation. Emily ultimately finished as runner-up in the competition.
Following AGT, she toured with Jay Leno, opening his shows with her one-woman blend of songs, stories, and comedy. In 2017, she signed with Sony Masterworks and released All For You, an album featuring both original material and standout performances from her time on television.
As an independent artist, Emily remains creatively active. She collaborated with Grammy Award-winning producer Daniel Tashian on the EP Symphonies, and co-produced her album Dear Diary with Leroy Powell of Whiskey Wolves of the West.
A seasoned performer, Emily has graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry 79 times, a testament to her enduring artistry and presence in American music. Through it all, Emily continues to nourish both her wounds and her wonder through the power of storytelling. As she says: “It’s just the beginning—always.”

Casey, the son of &#8220;Too Cold At Home&#8221; singer Mark Chesnutt, grew up surrounded by &#8217;90s country. By the time he was a teenager, Casey started to develop his own diverse taste in music and dug into the Texas Red Dirt scene. As he got older, he started trying to write similar songs. But his artistic point of view confused those in his inner circle. His dad is a nationally known country artist, and Texas Red Dirt is niche with limited reach. After Casey finished his time in the Marine Corps, he intensely focused on his music and chasing his creative dreams. He knew his songs wouldn&#8217;t work in mainstream country because people heard his last name and expected a &#8217;90s country sound. He unsuccessfully tried to write &#8217;90s country music, but one of his friends penned a song called &#8220;Even Texas Couldn&#8217;t Hold Her&#8221; that he thought would resonate with &#8217;90s country fans. Casey recorded it, and the result toed the line of the music he wanted to make and what people expected to hear from him. After that, the young singer felt more comfortable recording and promoting his own music. He recorded an entire album in his hotel room and self-released it, still trying to steer clear of the Nashville sound. Casey&#8217;s new record label sent him some songs he feels passionate about and believes will showcase who he is as an artist. Look for new music from Casey Chesnutt on Clearwater Records in 2025.

Buddy’s Place is so excited to welcome the award-winning Canadian trio The Heels in for their debut at what local critics have referred to as “an excellent alternative to the world-famous Bluebird Café”! This powerhouse all female trio has charted hits on country music charts all over the world and are making their mark here in the states and “Music City USA”! It’s going to be a fun night with these ladies on stage! Tennessee native Preston James is also set to make his Buddy’s Place debut on this fun night ahead! An accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist, Preston landed a spot on Blake Shelton’s team on season 11 of NBC’s The Voice! This exposure landed him a publishing deal in Nashville. Preston has an unmistakable voice and powerhouse delivery. He released his debut ep in 2024 and is making a name for himself in Nashville’s music scene! With classic country, folk and Americana influences, singer songwriter Jack McKeon has steadily grown a strong fan base with his touching story songs, visual lyrics and melodies. Jack has become a crowd favorite in recent years with Buddy’s Place crowds and it’s always great to have him back when he’s not touring and sharing his great music at shows and music festivals from coast to coast. A critically acclaimed debut album has music fans anxious for new music that’s in the works now!

Ashley Monroe
Ashley Monroe has established herself as one of Nashville&#8217;s finest singer-songwriters, able to conjure emotion in unexpected ways and to always find the humanity just beneath the surface. Critical acclaim appears to be something that all of Monroe’s albums have in common. Like a Rose (2013), which included the sublime — and alternatingly bawdy and poignant — singles &#8220;Weed Instead of Roses,&#8221; &#8220;You Got Me&#8221; and the title track. The Grammy nominated Blade (2015) followed with the soulful lead single &#8220;On to Something Good.” Sparrow (2018) turns Monroe’s life experiences into moody, orchestral masterpieces that explore all sides of a fully formed woman unashamed of her scars – the maternal tendencies, the childlike wonder and the sultry moments behind closed doors, as showcased on her single “Hands On You.” Recorded with Grammy winning producer Dave Cobb in the legendary RCA Studio A. All her albums received top country albums recognition by Billboard, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Washington Post, American Songwriter, Esquire, Stereogum, Taste of Country, Amazon Music, All Music, Uproxx and Nashville Scene Critics Poll. Monroe has recorded with artists ranging from the Raconteurs and Train to Wanda Jackson, Vince Gill, Mat Kearney, Ricky Skaggs, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert and Butch Walker. She received several GRAMMY nominations, one for her album The Blade, and also for her No.1 duet “Lonely Tonight” with Blake Shelton, in addition to CMA and ACM nods.
Jason Carter 
In Lloyd, Kentucky, on U.S. 23, there’s a sign on the Country Music Highway dedicated to renowned fiddler Jason Carter. It was placed there because of his other accomplishments—the Grammy awards, the worldwide tours, and the many other accolades he’s earned through his music. But for Carter, joining the legendary names honored on that stretch of highway just might mean the most. &#8220;There&#8217;s a certain sound that&#8217;s up there that you just don&#8217;t hear anywhere else,&#8221; he says. &#8220;I think that played a big part in how I sound today.&#8221;
True to those Kentucky roots, Carter continues to pour all he has back into bluegrass. For thirty years, he has been the fiddle player for the Del McCoury Band—the most awarded group in bluegrass history. He’s won three Grammy awards, including 2018’s “Best Bluegrass Album” with the Travelin’ McCourys, of which he is a founding member. And he’s taken home five IBMAs for “Fiddle Player of the Year,” a staggering number that isn’t quite so crazy once you realize just how many bluegrass greats have turned to Carter for collaboration.
On Carter’s forthcoming solo album, Lowdown Hoedown, listeners may recognize instrumental contributions from such legends as Jerry Douglas or Sam Bush alongside vocals from young trailblazers like Sarah Jarosz or Billy Strings. This time, though, Carter is singing lead.
Bronwyn Keith-Hynes  
Bronwyn Keith-Hynes has long been renowned as a prolific instrumentalist, earning two IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year awards as well as a Grammy for her work with Molly Tuttle &amp; Golden Highway. But on her latest album I Built a World, the Charlottesville Virginia native unlocks an impressive new sound: her voice.
Now, as her own entry in bluegrass history expands from celebrated instrumentalist to bandleader and frontwoman, Bronwyn isn’t just crafting a career in the image of genre greats like Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas; she’s bringing them along for the ride. Both Bush and Douglas are featured as players and singers on I Built a World, and they’re not the only of Bronwyn’s musically-inclined pals and heroes to make an appearance. Molly Tuttle, Dierks Bentley, Brit Taylor, Darrell Scott, Dudley Connell and Jason Carter appear throughout the album.
&#8220;‘I Built a World’ is about daydreaming, about building worlds in your mind. I was definitely a kid who did a lot of that. But as an adult, I feel like music still can take me to that place,&#8221; she says. She hopes listeners can take a little bit of that dreaminess with them. “Each song on this album is its own little world, its own story, a space and a place in your mind that you can travel to and explore. Whatever you&#8217;re needing or wanting to feel, you can go to that place here. I hope you enjoy the journey.”
Audrey Spillman
Audrey Spillman is a singer-songwriter based outside of Nashville, TN. Her songs have been cut by artists such as while also having success with songs in film/TV.
Neilson Hubbard 
Hubbard has been making beautiful music for decades, as a member of Strays Don’t Sleep (with Matthew Ryan), The Orphan Brigade (with co producer Ben Glover), Spoon and as a solo artist, and as one of Nashville’s most renowned producers. Hubbard produced the Grammy nominated Rifles and Rosary Beads by Mary Gauthier. Hubbard’s production specializes in staying true to the song and he chooses a small ensemble of players that are as spontaneous and loyal to beauty and space as he is. Recently moving into photography and film, Hubbard directed the documentary and produced the soundtrack of The Orphan Brigade: Soundtrack to a Ghost Story which won a number of awards and birthed the band The Orphan Brigade (Hubbard, Joshua Britt and Ben Glover). With Joshua Britt, through their company Neighborhoods Apart, he directs and produces music videos and has worked with John Prine, Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams and The Blind Boys of Alabama as well as a host of artists without household names. His songwriting has been featured in Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill and Private Practice as well as several films.
Everette
Growing up in Shepherdsville Kentucky, frontman Brent Rupard began his musical journey the way many of the greats began – in the church. In a particularly expressive church, he learned to let emotions run wild through the music without reservations. From the church to the rowdy bars of Bowling Green, Kentucky where he moved to go to college at Western Kentucky University, he honed in his ability to play above the noise and capture an audience. As he began to outgrow the club scene of Kentucky, Rupard set his sights on making music a career. Along with musical companion and former member of Everette, Anthony Olympia, the two of them set off for Nashville to make this dream a reality. This is where the band name “Everette” was formed after George Clooney’s character on “Oh Brother Where Art Thou”, a movie frequently watched together. Everette has become more than just a band name. Even though the configuration has changed from duo to now being led by Rupard, the name Everette and the mission to bring people together through music continues. Whether you see Everette on the Grand Ole Opry, in your hometown theater, or gathered around in the backyard, there’s no doubt an Everette show will make you feel something. With a mixture of bluegrass and rock n roll, The Everette sound will surely transport you to the back porch, with good friends, good drinks and good times. Everette’s latest EP, Keys to Kentucky is just the start of this new journey.
