Kat Higgins
Kat Higgins’ earliest memories include recording cassette tapes to send to her Granny Higgins in Ireland when she was four years old.  She and her six siblings would sing traditional Irish songs and pretend they were on a radio show.  Fifteen years later, she and two of those siblings were on the radio.
The Vancouver, Canada native was part of The Higgins family band that toured Canada, hit the top 15 on Canadian radio and was nominated for CCMA Group of the Year in 2008 and 2009.  Kat is thankful for those years of touring and recording with her family because it built her confidence on stage and honed her skills in the studio.  “I was always the analytical nerd in the group” she remembers. “I thought I was nuts to be staying up until four in the morning in the studio, editing tracks and re-singing vocals.”
After moving to Nashville in 2012, she brought that same dedication to her songwriting. “I got to write with some of my heroes and I learned so much about how to communicate through songs,” Kat explains.  Kat is still inspired by the music she grew up on. “A huge part of my songwriting is inspired by Celtic music, that hasn’t really changed, but what I’m writing about has.”
Now a BMG published songwriter, Kat’s songs have been recorded by Kenny Chesney (“Knowing You”), Carrie Underwood (“Mexico”), The Lone Bellow (“Illegal Immigrant”), and many others.

James Slater
James Slater is a two time GRAMMY nominated, piano-playing, bilingual singer-songwriter of Bolivian American descent signed to BMG Music Publishing.  Born in Durham, North Carolina, and raised in the tropics of the Panama Canal Zone in Central America.
Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Enrique Iglesias, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Willie Nelson, Kelly Pickler, Alabama, Reba McEntire, Gloriana, Runaway June, Martina McBride, Chris Brown, Chris Young and a host of others have all recorded his songs. His Grammy nominations include Jamey Johnson&#8217;s &#8220;The High Cost of Living,” Country Song of the Year, and Martina&#8217;s “In My Daughter’s Eyes,” which has become a modern day standard.
James wrote Keith Urban’s hit single, “God Whispered Your Name,” and Tim McGraw’s “God Moves The Pen,” Kenny Chesney’s “Wasted” and “Guys Named Captain,”  as well as new songs on Old Dominion and Hootie and the Blowfish albums and Warner Brother’s Shy Carter’s first single, “Good Love. “
James calls Nashville home. James lived in Zurich Switzerland for six years touring, and recording with Belgian super group Vaya Con Dios and has traveled the world from Panama to Dublin, from Spain to Havana. James’ “Key West Address&#8221; is a love letter to the island, so much so that the mayor of Key West has awarded James the &#8220;keys to the city&#8221; and proclaimed the song &#8220;Key West Address&#8221; the island&#8217;s official theme.
James&#8217; latest solo album, Famous In Key West, features songs recorded at Jimmy Buffett’s Legendary Shrimp Boat Studios.

Thom Shepherd
Thom Shepherd is a storyteller with a six-string soul. A hit songwriter and Country troubadour, he’s known for shining a spotlight on the stories behind the songs — from heartfelt YouTube interviews to powerful live performances. With his signature red guitar and a career shaped by resilience, including vocal surgery and cancer treatments, Thom turns life’s toughest moments into connection and community.
Part artist, part entrepreneur, all heart.
A veteran of Nashville’s Music Row, he is the writer of five #1 singles including “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Riding with Private Malone,” and “My Texas.”  He’s the writer of over 10 radio singles, two Grammy nominated songs, and has had over 100 songs recorded by Blake Shelton, George Jones, Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, Easton Corbin, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Colt Ford, and many more.
Thom is currently a songwriter, video host, and content creator at 8 Track Entertainment in Nashville.
After years of touring all over the country, Thom and his wife, artist Coley McCabe, have settled in Mount Juliet, TN. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and spent his high school years in Virginia before moving to Nashville in 1993 after graduating from George Mason University.

Sam Johnson (vocals, Choir boy gone Rock N&#8217; Roll,, Isaac Johnson (plays guitar with his tongue more than his hands. Are twin brothers. Cooper Corcoran (guitar, the guy with the bandana in his back pocket), Ben Schmelzer (drums, Bearded since the 8th grade.) and Nathan Klien  (bass, the country boy, not Ben&#8217;s younger brother.) are of no relation to each other, these five fellas are as tight as brothers… but not quite.

Uncle B&#8217;s Drunk With Power String Band Show is Bryan Simpson&#8217;s irreverent trippy-trad tent revival of a musical experience currently in residence in the Neon Steeple at Chief&#8217;s on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. Aka. the Damned Ole Opry &#8211; the variety show features a wildly talented slew of colorful and creative musicians, singers, and songwriters that tear things down to the stud level all in the way of a grand ole time. Each month, Uncle B’s honors a legendary record with renditions of classic songs performed on banjos, fiddles and mandolins. It’s hay bales and hell yeahs! Imagine Billy Strings meets Barnum and Bailey. Hee Haw and Half Baked had a baby. It’s best witnessed instead of discussed. Come lay eyes on it.
Bryan Simpson
Modern American eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Simpson is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country and indie eclecticism, with the playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection of his heroes which include John Hartford, Tom T Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and of course Bob Dylan.
Bryan’s songs have netted praise from all corners: The Huffington Post wrote “Bryan’s original undertakings are reminiscent of the whimsical and whip-smart work by David Byrne and Jim James”. While SeattlePi claims Simpson’s music echoes “Bowie, and Beck in the melodies, moods, and arrangements. The quest is entertaining and thought-provoking.” His genre-spanning career has included making records and touring as a singer/songwriter with luminaries as diverse as The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, bluegrass giant Ricky Skaggs and Mumford and Sons. Since leaving his hometown of Ft Worth Texas with only a fiddle, guitar, mandolin and a box fan to his name, Simpson has had many of his original songs recorded by country music standouts like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Hailey Whitters, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brandy Clark, Old Dominion, Stephen Wilson Jr., with several of them ending up with a number 1 beside their name on the Billboard and Music Row charts . He has also been awarded NSAI’s prestigious award of “10 Songs I wish I’d Written”. His songs have easily totaled over 500 million streams at this point.
This year Simpson released his first record under his own name. “The Oldest”, released in April, is a concise 11 songs in length, produced by Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan/Brandi Carlisle) and takes Simpson’s shade tree kaleidoscopic storytelling center stage.
Ronnie Bowman
From the tender age of three, Ronnie Bowman has been performing music. Starting in a family band playing churches in North Carolina and Virginia, he eventually joined the acclaimed Bluegrass band The Lost &amp; Found. Shortly after Ronnie joined The Lonesome River Band, and became a participant in the band’s recording of Carrying the Tradition, which was ultimately named International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Album of the Year in 1991.
​It wasn&#8217;t long before Ronnie Bowman became a household name in the Bluegrass community. With the release of an additional four albums as a member of the Lonesome River Band, Ronnie also recorded four solo projects. He has been awarded IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year three times, has twice earned the IBMA Song of the Year award and was awarded the Gospel Performance of the Year award for &#8220;Three Rusty Nails&#8221;.  As a songwriter Ronnie has earned a great deal of respect not only among Bluegrass professionals, but also in Country Music. Both Brooks &amp; Dunn, and Kenny Chesney have brought Ronnie Bowman originals to #1, and Lee Ann Womack also included a song by Ronnie on the multi-platinum selling album &#8220;I Hope You Dance&#8221;.
​He has seen continued songwriting success with three songs on Chris Stapleton&#8217;s multi-platinum selling album, Traveller.  The single &#8220;Nobody To Blame&#8221; won Ronnie the ACM &#8220;Song of the Year,” while the album received the ACM and CMA &#8220;Album of the Year&#8221; award as well as a Grammy for &#8220;Country Album of the Year&#8221;.
As a vocalist, Ronnie has recorded with various artists including, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack, Del McCoury, Chris Stapleton, and John Fogerty to name a few. When Ronnie’s not on the road performing, he resides in Nashville,TN where he’s still writing songs and living the life.
Will Jones
Will Jones, raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains, blends Appalachian soul with outlaw grit. His sound merges bluegrass storytelling with a highway-worn edge, inspired by legends ranging from Keith Whitley to Tony Rice while forging his own path in country music. A masterful guitarist and songwriter, Will has shared stages with Jon Pardi, Ralph Stanley, and Chris Thile. His music pulses with raw emotion, sharp picking, and Celtic-inspired melodies — steeped in tradition yet wild, free, and unpredictable.
Seth Mulder
Seth Mulder is a mandolinist, vocalist, and songwriter whose work bridges the spirit of traditional bluegrass with the energy of a modern performer. A North Dakota native, Seth brings a deep appreciation for the roots of American music to everything he does. As the frontman of Seth Mulder &amp; Midnight Run, he has become a driving force in contemporary bluegrass—delivering authenticity, heart, and high-octane musicianship to stages across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
A graduate of the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music, Seth studied under legends like Bobby Osborne and Curtis Burch, grounding his musical foundation in the traditions of the genre. Since forming Midnight Run in 2018, he’s led the band in developing a sound that honors the past while embracing the future.
Whether he’s writing, performing, or leading a late-night jam, Seth Mulder continues to craft songs and performances that speak to the heart of bluegrass—rooted in tradition, driven by passion, and built to last.

Buddy's Place w/ Nick Fabian, Mallory Johnson, Dakota Striplin | Chief's on Broadway

Brassfield is a Country vocal trio based in Nashville consisting of brothers Bradley and Chadley Brassfield, and Chadley’s wife, Jessie Rose Brassfield. It’s a family affair for sure that makes for airtight three-part harmonies and a stellar vocal blend.
Musical roots run deep for all of them. The brothers were born in Tupelo, Mississippi, where music is certainly a way of life. In the Brassfield bloodline, being a great singer is commonplace and the boys are no exception to this phenomenon. Growing up, they toured the southern US playing and singing in churches, fell in love with being on stage, and knew that they wanted to continue their career together in Nashville. That’s where they met Jessie Rose.
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Jessie has spent her whole life in a musical bubble. She’s been a happy student of music from the start and the love and curiosity spreads across all genres. She’s been singing, playing piano, and writing songs for as long as she can remember. Jessie comes from a long line of professional singers/musicians/writers, her dad being JP Pennington of the country hit-making group Exile.
Following in his footsteps, she moved to Nashville to pursue country music, met the boys, the stars aligned, and two very important things happened. Jessie and Chadley fell in love, and the trio discovered that their three unique voices came together to form a killer vocal blend.
The rest is history. This in-demand trio performs all the time, sometimes 7 days a week. They are the house band for The Opry Backstage Grill, where they host a hit songwriters night that has put them on the stage with many of country music’s most prolific songwriters. All three members of BRASSFIELD are songwriters themselves and are excited to be in the studio, recording a full length album of songs that truly represent their distinctive artistry.

Born and bred in the heart of Tennessee, Shelby Lee Lowe is redefining what country music can be. Shelby’s sound is a modern fusion of neo-traditional country, Bakersfield grit, and indie rock flair. With a degree in music business from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Shelby made his mark early by tapping into his deep homegrown roots, signing his first publishing deal in 2016 with Banner Music in Nashville.  Skyelor Anderson
Skyelor Anderson is a singer-songwriter who is making a name for himself on the Country Music circuit. Born on November 22, 1994 in Memphis, TN, Skyelor began singing in church as a young child and knew by the age of 14 that music would play a huge part of his life. However, it wasn&#8217;t until 2011, when he won 1st place in his high school talent show, &#8220;Southaven Idol&#8221;, that he realized that music would be his entire life. His first real taste at performing in front of a large crowd was on the 1st season of the XFactor (USA edition) where during his initial audition, his music stopped playing almost immediately. Skyelor never missed a beat. He placed in the top 8 of the men’s division. Skyelor has since then dedicated his life to being a full time artist. From playing in small bars in his hometown to playing CMA Fest two years in a row. He has opened up for numerous country artists, including Jamey Johnson, Brothers Osbourne, Craig Morgan, Jon Pardi, Trace Adkins, and many more. Although he enjoys playing on the stage, he also enjoys writing songs, sharing co-writes with hit-makers like Josh Miller, Craig Campbell, Styles Haury, Chris Sligh, Mary Kutter, and others.
With this mix of Soul, Gospel, and Country Music, and whether it be acoustic or full band, Skyelor has a reputation in Nashville as both an electric showman and a heartfelt singer.

 Cody Atkins
With a sound and style of Merle Haggard, George Jones, Keith Whitley and alike,  Cody Atkins puts new life into old school Country music.  The Newport, Virginia-native, moved to Nashville in 2013 after studying music at East Tennessee University and  has been performing ever since.
Atkins began playing guitar at the age of 10, inspired by his uncle Gene Atkins, an accomplished guitar player. Cody discovered the greats like Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin, George Jones, Don Williams, Keith Whitley, Randy Travis and Alan Jackson, all the while  honing his craft as a guitar player and singer.
Cody performs in clubs and venues around Nashville as well as on the road. When not performing live he write songs with some of Music City’s to hit songwriters.

Jeff Holbrook
Jeff Holbrook is an American singer-songwriter and guitar player. Raised in Allentown, NJ, Jeff grew up working construction with his father in the family’s construction company. At the age of 21, Holbrook packed his bags and a guitar bound for Nashville where he continues to refine his sonic fingerprint and move people through his music.

Adrian and Meredith
Folk duo Adrian and Meredith have always been ones to march to their own beat, and have never been apologetic for the art they create. The project brings together two performers who grew up on opposite ends of the musical spectrum. Adrian was raised on rock, punk, and motown with a unique croon to his voice and a &#8220;clawhammer banjo&#8221; approach to playing the acoustic guitar. Meredith cut her teeth in the old-time music scene, where she played traditional fiddle and learned flatfoot clogging while studying classical violin and classical tap dancing. Those two approaches come together in a way that honors the traditions of Folk and Americana music while pushing beyond those genres&#8217; boundaries. Both Adrian and Meredith are connected to their immigrant roots within their families and that cultural connection deeply informs the music.
Since the duo joined forces in 2015, they have been pounding the pavement, putting their own spin on Americana. Their music embodies the spirit of the human story with a nod to punk, the heart of folk, flavor of Polka, and bounce of swing. Passionate about building global empathy through sharing the stories and origins of their american roots music, Adrian and Meredith have spent nearly 150 shows a year since their inception touring the USA, Canada, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium Denmark, Netherlands, The United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Their music takes audiences and listeners on a journey, embodying the spirit of the human story through the music and dance traditions of the United States and creates connection to their origins, informing audiences as to the history of American culture and how migration patterns created uniquely American music. From jazz, rock, polka, irish, old time, rock, punk, country, new orleans jazz, quebecois, mariachi, and cajun &#8211; each song celebrates the unique tapestry of what it means to be an American, “turn[ing] out a style that might be what alt-country would be like today if it had been born in Green Bay instead of St. Louis&#8230;.sassy horns and Meredith’s fiddle in gypsy-mode to comment on how truth and integrity have become quaint ideas in America (Twangville Music).”
Adrian and Meredith will be releasing their 3rd album &#8220;Klezmer American Acoustic Dynamite,” , a Dial Back Recording from Water Valley MS, with the help from friends of Squirrel Nut Zippers, Drive-By-Truckers, Punch Brothers/Mighty Poplar, and Jimbo Mathus. Drawing upon a diverse collection of influences, &#8220;Klezmer American&#8221; represents a departure from their norm, blending their consistent Klezmer melodies with the raw, gritty energy of John Kveen (bass), Hank West (horns), Bronson Tew (drums) of the incorrigible Squirrel Nut Zippers / Jimbo Mathus.
Adrian and Meredith take their fearless, blistering, and Balkan-tinged Americana to new heights with a live show that resembles a raucous, rebellious and home-spun variety show. 2023 has brought their full band sound back to the stage with festivals, tours, and teaching workshops throughout the USA and Europe. Two Europe tours, festivals like Blissfest (MI), Portland’s Folk Fest (OR) Mile of Music (WI), Jazz paa Fejoe (DK), Ahlen Fest (DE) and Wheatland Music Festival (MI), and support tours w/ Legendary Shackshakers, Jimbo Mathus, Shawn James and, Steve N&#8217; Seagulls all fill the calendar. They&#8217;ve showcased at Folk Alliance International (2021, 2022, 2023), and were selected by Daniel Lanois for his Uprise.FM streaming platform.              
Robert Ellis
Recorded live to tape in just two days, Robert Ellis’s exquisite new album, Yesterday’s News, is as stripped-down as it gets, with the celebrated songwriter and producer’s delicate, reedy tenor accompanied only by nylon string guitar, upright bass, and the occasional piece of handheld percussion. The arrangements are harmonically sophisticated here, drawing on the open tunings and intricate fingerpicking of English songwriters like Nick Drake or Richard Thompson, and Ellis’s performances are similarly subtle and nuanced, tapping into the bittersweet longing of Chet Baker and the playful poignancy of Bill Evans and Jim Hall.
While that might seem surprising coming off 2019’s raucous Texas Piano Man, subverting expectations is nothing new for Ellis. Born and raised outside Houston, he gained early acclaim for his piercing introspection and absorbing narratives, but over the course of five solo albums, he flirted with everything from Paul Simon and John Prine to Elton John and Joni Mitchell in a series of sonic and visual transformations that ran the gamut from Redneck Steely Dan to Lone Star Liberace. NPR hailed his “musical daring and impeccable songcraft,” while Rolling Stone praised his “sharp eye for storytelling,” and the New York Times lauded his writing as an emotional “gut punch.”
Yesterday’s News marks Ellis’s debut LP for Niles City Records, an outgrowth of the famed Niles City Sound studio he and longtime collaborator Josh Block run in Fort Worth, TX.
Will Hoge
Will Hoge will release Sweet Misery, the Grammy-nominated artist’s 15th studio album on Friday, August 22. On Sweet Misery, Hoge reminds listeners that he isn’t afraid to break new ground &#8211; all while giving a keen nod to his rock and roll roots with the kind of grace and purpose that only comes with experience &#8211; without the baggage of predictability. In Will&#8217;s own words &#8211; “Following the re-recording and re-releases of Carousel and Blackbird On A Lonely Wire I found myself really wanting to make a louder, hooky, rock-n-roll band record again. Good stories, big choruses, shit to make you play it loud and drive fast with the windows down. I was without a band so I enlisted a crew of folks who I love &#8211; folks that I believed could really help bring out the bigger ideas in the songs. I hope folks will find some headphones and give it a good, loud listen. Top to bottom, the way albums should be listened to.”
Will Hoge has a career whose milestones include Number One hits, Grammy nods, major-label record deals, and hard-won independence. Years before Americana music received its own category at the Grammy Awards, Hoge was on the frontlines, helping to pilot and popularize the genre&#8217;s blend of American roots music. In the current digital era dominated by influencers seeking shortcuts to stardom, Will Hoge proudly treads the scenic route, immersing himself in the journey rather than fixating on the destination.
Abe Partridge
Abe Partridge is a heralded musician, singer/songwriter, visual artist, and podcaster based in  Mobile, Alabama. His 2018 debut, Cotton Fields and Blood For Days earned him rave reviews,  with Tony Paris saying in The Bitter Southerner: &#8220;He plays guitar the same way he writes lyrics,  bashing the strings with abandon until they are just about to come loose, then beautifully picking  the notes until every last word falls into place. More to the point, Partridge writes to make you sit  up and think. He wants to jar your reality. Sometimes, his lyrics are sly and subtle. Sometimes  they come at you with a roar and thunder, as if the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were  approaching, and the heavens were opening up to herald a warning.&#8221;
Since the release of his debut, Partridge has toured relentlessly, including several tours of the  Netherlands and the U.K. developing a reputation for moving, passionate, and sometimes  comedic, performances at prestigious songwriter festivals such as 30A Songwriters Festival,  Frank Brown Songwriters Festival, and Americanafest. He is a regular at the Bluebird Café in  Nashville and Eddie’s Attic in Decatur. He has performed on the syndicated radio programs,  Mountain Stage and Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour. He has shared the stage with Morgan  Wade, Paul Thorn, Steve Poltz, Dan Bern, Jerry Joseph, Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket),  Tommy Stinson, Shawn Mullins, John Fullbright, and more.
When Partridge is not writing or touring, he is also a highly acclaimed visual artist. His paintings,  primarily acrylic on tarred board and watercolors, now hang in art galleries around the southeast  and in the private collections of Tyler Childers, Mike Wolfe (American Pickers), Rick Hirsch (Wet  Willie), and Tommy Prine. His artwork was featured in Stephen King’s 2019 sequel to The
Shining &#8211; Dr. Sleep. He painted the cover art for Charlie Parr’s, Last Of The Better Days Ahead  (Smithsonian Folkways). He also created art for Tyler Childers’ 2022 release, Can I Take My  Hounds To Heaven?
American Songwriter Magazine said, “Abe Partridge has established himself as one of the most  respected songwriters and visual folk artists in the southeast.”
Justin Wells
With Justin Wells’ latest album, 𝘊𝘺𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢, the Kentucky singer-songwriter once again stokes the fiery depths of his pure intent, the core elements of the record revolving around things that matter most in life — steadfast family, genuine friends, and creative fulfillment.
Captured by Grammy-nominated producer Duane Lundy at his legendary studio in Lexington, Kentucky, 𝘊𝘺𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 came about as an ode to Wells’ wife, Andrea, with whom he first crossed paths with when they were both teenagers.
“Cynthiana is the small central Kentucky town where we met,” Wells says. “There’s little pieces of her in all of these songs.”
The 10-song LP harnesses the raw power and lyrical honesty that’s made Wells a stoic figure in the rich, vibrant tapestry of music bubbling up over the last decade or so from The Bluegrass State — with Wells’ tone and talent quickly spilling out to the rest of the country.
“Cranking up the amps and gliding down the fretboard of his Fender Telecaster, singer-songwriter Justin Wells — in a similar tone to the late, great George Jones — rumbled across the Outpost stage, the sweat of a humid mid-summer afternoon dripping from his forehead,” Rolling Stone wrote of his recent AVLFest appearance.
It doesn’t matter to Wells the portals by which he’s able to reach the listener. What counts is this internal mission to connect with whoever’s in the room — folks in search of compassion and something real in a sometimes lonely and confusing world.

Created by singer-songwriter Eric Paslay, Song in a Hat offers attendees a unique opportunity to experience the songwriting process in Music City. Guests will write a song idea or title on a slip of paper and toss it into a hat. Eric will randomly draw one slip out of the hat, and that guest will join him and the two other songwriters on stage to help co-write a song!

Charles Kelley

Dan Tyminski
Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. Tyminski’s voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley Brother’s classic song, “I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow,” in the film, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou, bringing bluegrass into focus for millions of new fans. His vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey, Brother” was a global smash, having been streamed over 1 billion times to date.
Dan has also contributed guitar and/or harmony to projects by Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Aaron Lewis and Rob Thomas, to name a few. In addition to his highly successful solo career, Dan has played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss &amp; Union Station since 1994. His unmatched instrumental skills and burnished, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band.
He has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards, was named Male Vocalist of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association 4 times and was recognized as 2004’s Male Vocalist of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America.
In 2022, Tyminski released the EP &#8220;One More Time Before You Go: A Tribute to Tony Rice&#8221;
featuring guest appearances by Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Todd Phillips, Sam Bush, Dailey &amp; Vincent.
Tyminski’s newest full-length album &#8220;God Fearing Heathen&#8221; was released on June 23, 2023.
Ronnie Bowman
From the tender age of three, Ronnie Bowman has been performing music. Starting in a family band playing churches in North Carolina and Virginia, he eventually joined the acclaimed Bluegrass band The Lost &amp; Found. Shortly after Ronnie joined The Lonesome River Band, and became a participant in the band’s recording of Carrying the Tradition, which was ultimately named International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Album of the Year in 1991.
​It wasn&#8217;t long before Ronnie Bowman became a household name in the Bluegrass community. With the release of an additional four albums as a member of the Lonesome River Band, Ronnie also recorded four solo projects. He has been awarded IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year three times, has twice earned the IBMA Song of the Year award and was awarded the Gospel Performance of the Year award for &#8220;Three Rusty Nails&#8221;.  As a songwriter Ronnie has earned a great deal of respect not only among Bluegrass professionals, but also in Country Music. Both Brooks &amp; Dunn, and Kenny Chesney have brought Ronnie Bowman originals to #1, and Lee Ann Womack also included a song by Ronnie on the multi-platinum selling album &#8220;I Hope You Dance&#8221;.
​He has seen continued songwriting success with three songs on Chris Stapleton&#8217;s multi-platinum selling album, Traveller.  The single &#8220;Nobody To Blame&#8221; won Ronnie the ACM &#8220;Song of the Year,” while the album received the ACM and CMA &#8220;Album of the Year&#8221; award as well as a Grammy for &#8220;Country Album of the Year&#8221;.
As a vocalist, Ronnie has recorded with various artists including, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack, Del McCoury, Chris Stapleton, and John Fogerty to name a few. When Ronnie’s not on the road performing, he resides in Nashville,TN where he’s still writing songs and living the life.
Kevin MaC
Songwriter, artist and entrepreneur Kevin MaC jump-started his music career in 2014 with an L.A. publishing deal. Kevin has since honed his craft, and his performance skills, having since written with legendary Nashville hit-makers Keith Stegall and Buddy Cannon,Grammy award-winning songwriters Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lower and even with “young blood” tunesmiths who’ve penned hits for Zac Brown Band, Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. Kevin has shared the stage with a variety of artists, including Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts, Kip Moore, and The Band Perry.
The ever-evolving MaC is the co-founder of Tik Pik (“the pick that sticks” as seen on Shark Tank) as well as Elsie Marshall Shotgun Granny Whiskey and hosts a bi-weekly songwriters round at Eric Church’s new venue, Chief’s On Broadway.

Riley Anderson
Riley Andersson is a Nashville recording artist and singer-songwriter from Leesburg, Georgia. With a voice that can make you feel like you&#8217;re sitting by a bonfire under the Georgia stars, Riley&#8217;s music captures the essence of small-town life, love, and the open road. Riley has been able to share stages with country music superstars like Tracy Lawrence, Gary Alan, Miranda Lambert, Justin Moore, Morgan Wallen and Trey Lewis just to name a few.

ERLAND
Rooted in the great storytelling traditions of Americana, Blues, and Alt-Country, ERLAND, is a songwriter/composer/producer based in Nashville, TN. He is anticipating the release of his 
upcoming full length album &#8220;Southern Pacific&#8221; on Santa Barbara Records.
His music has been featured in multiple TV shows and films such as NBC&#8217;s hit show Shades of Blue (starring Jennifer Lopez &amp; Ray Liotta), Verizon campaigns, and independent films such as Blood Ganja and Identical. ERLAND has been featured on Mookie&#8217;s local music spotlight on L.A.&#8217;s KCSN, People Magazine, Nashville&#8217;s Lightning 100, KJEE, Confront Magazine, Santa Barbara Independent, Scope Magazine, and more.
In 2015 ERLAND caught the ear of Songs Publishing (now Kobalt) prompting his first move to Nashville. In typical songwriter fashion he had to find odd jobs to stay afloat while chasing the dream. &#8220;I was selling honey on the side of the road during the day. It was the only job I could find where I could bring my guitar and write at the same time. &#8221;
He has performed over 1,500 concerts including opening spots for Andrew McMahon In The 
Wilderness. He has also opened for The White Buffalo, HAIM, ALO, Rocco Deluca, and 
Crowded House.
He has been seen on stages such as The House of Blues, 9:30 Club, Great American Music 
Hall, OC Parks Summer Concert Series, The Lobero Theater, Live Oak Festival, and The 
Satellite.
Trent Cowie
Singer-songwriter Trent Cowie blends Texas country roots with rock&#8217;s rebellious spirit to create heartfelt, relatable anthems. Hailing from Magnolia, Texas, Trent Cowie has been hooked on storytelling since childhood, turning tales into songs on his grandmother&#8217;s piano. Raised in a music-loving family and influenced by church, he quickly fell for country music, while later expanding his sound with rock influences. Described as &#8220;hard country,&#8221; Trent&#8217;s music sits in a unique groove between traditional country and rock, blending the best of both worlds. After years working in the West Texas oil fields, Trent fully committed to his music career, opening for country greats like Tracy Lawrence, Pat Greene, and Roger Creager. He&#8217;s also played the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo&#8217;s Hideout in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, Trent released Checking Boxes and Crossing Lines, a seven-song album with a mix of high-energy anthems and heartfelt tracks, including a touching acoustic tribute to his mother. His music is deeply rooted in emotion, aiming to give voice to those who can&#8217;t always express their own feelings.

Taylor Graves
Taylor Graves is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Austin, Texas blending the likes of new 
school folk country and Americana with the sultry soul of the classics and timeless grunge of 
rock and roll that we all know and love. Country, soul, funk, and southern rock with a modern twist &#8211; there&#8217;s something for everyone to groove to.
The love of the music and performing is the core and\ is evident on every stage she steps on. 
The lyricism and musicality she brings to the table has landed her and her band several

Chris Hatfield
Chris Hatfield has been in the music industry since 2000, beginning in the piano bars playing drums, he slowly ventured into playing piano and songwriting. Moving to Nashville in 2009, Chris began going to see friends play at writers rounds and starting writing on a regular basis. Completing two albums while in Nashville, he still writes today, plays piano in a band and sings every chance he gets, including anchoring weekend slots at Chief’s on Broadway.
Dustin De La Garza
South Texas native and a 5th generation cowboy, Dustin De La Garza grew up immersed in the cowboy lifestyle. Because of this, his interests naturally gravitated towards the western lifestyle and country music. Aside from his cowboy lineage his father also sang in a country band back in his early 20’s. Watching his dad play guitar and sing is one of the biggest reasons Dustin  fell in love with music. Through the influences of country music legends such as Chris Ledoux, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Ronnie Milsap inform his work, he  began writing his own music with the intention to leave his mark in country music.
Chad Micahel Jervis
Chad Michael Jervis is a songwriter and artist from Wilmington, DE. He studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Chad was a member of country-pop band King Calaway, securing a deal with BBR Music Group and BMG Publishing. As one of the lead singers, Chad contributed his soulful country and rock vocals on tracks like “The Other Half,” “Tennessee’s Waiting,” and “Heathen” featuring Marcus King. In 2024 Chad struck out on his own and  is now focused on a solo project, while also writing independently across pop, Country, and Americana/Folk.

When virtuoso Irish playing jumps the pond running naked through the wide open fields of bluegrass/Americana, JigJam is born. Bluegrass and American Folk music originated from the group’s home, and now JigJam is here to take it back!
JigJam made its Grand Ole Opry Debut in Nashville in March 2023 to critical acclaim receiving a standing ovation from a sold-out crowd on Country Music’s biggest stage. The group was joined on the night by Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Steve Earle, Lauren Alaina, and many more. This Offaly and Tipperary-born band has started the first wave of attack in the new Irish invasion of Americana. ‘Foot stomping’, ‘high energy’ badassery is what you’re in for when you see this musical powerhouse live in concert.
Founding members from Offaly Jamie McKeogh (Lead singer and guitar) and Daithi Melia (5 String Banjo and Dobro) were joined by Tipperary-born Gavin Strappe (Mandolin and Tenor Banjo) in 2016. This year they are joined by Kevin Buckley (Fiddle) to make up this iGrass (Irish Bluegrass) quartet .Described as ‘The best Irish band in bluegrass’ and ‘sparkling, infectious’ these lads have been hailed as ‘Ireland’s answer to New Grass Revival.’
Bluegrass has its roots in Irish music and Irish immigration. iGrass and JigJam is what happens when the Irish find their prodigal son.

Buddy’s Place welcomes Janelle Arthur, Mike Kinnebrew and Dan Smalley to the Neon Steeple concert hall, located in the heart of Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway!  It’s an intimate, up close and personal night of music, an ALL-AGES SHOW with reserved seating tickets on the floor and balcony!
Janelle arthur is an accomplished singer/songwriter/actress with an impressive resume to back that up! She’s made multiple appearances on the historic Grand Ole Opry as well as the world-famous Ryman Auditorium stage. Janelle’s written and recorded a great collection of original music which also includes notable duets with Country Music legends Dolly Parton and Vince Gill as well as Opry members The Isaacs! Janelle has starred in two major motion pictures and wrote and recorded the theme song for her acting debut in the independent film “Running from My Roots.” We’re excited to welcome Janelle back for another night of stories and songs at Buddy’s Place!
Americana, folk singer songwriter Mike kinnebrew is set to make his Buddy’s Place. Mike’s musical influences include some of the greats like Tom Petty,  James Taylor, Jackson Browne and the Indigo Girls.  His soulful, indie-inflected take on Folk and Americana paired with hard-hitting relatable lyrics makes him a stand-out in his own genre. Mike spent a lot of 2024 in the studio working on new material and 2025 has found him on the road sharing that music on notable stages such at the world-famous Bluebird Café, The Listening Room, Eddie’s Attic and Macon, Georgia’s famous Capital Theater.  We’re excited to welcome Mike to the Buddy’s Place family.
Country music’s Dan smalley solidified his place as one of Country music’s best singer songwriters in 2024 with the critically acclaimed debut album “The State of Country Music.” Dan’s project was nominated for Country Album of the Year at the British CMA Awards!  Besides shows and touring in the states, he’s grown a huge fanbase with multiple tours overseas with sold out shows and festivals in Europe. Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, Randall King, Ashley McBryde and others have recorded his songs over the years. With multiple appearances at Nashville’s Bluebird Café and other famous stages, Dan’s quick dry wit and rich deep baritone voice are unmistakable when he’s on stage.
Buddy’s Place began as a series of intimate house concerts in 2011 has steadily grown over the years and now finds itself gracing the stage at Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway hosting intimate nights of live music with a monthly residency. GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde cut her teeth playing country songs in biker bars – and it shows. The Grand Ole Opry member’s 2018 major label debut Girl Going Nowhere (Warner Music Nashville) charmed The New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, Paste, The Washington Post and more, all en route to landing a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. McBryde closed out 2019 with ACM New Female Artist, CMT Breakout Artist, a New Artist of the Year win at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards and two nominations for the 2020 GRAMMYs for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” Follow-up Never Will was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated of the year alongside NPR, who also ranked her Top 10 RIAA Platinum-Certified single “One Night Standards” as one of the best songs of 2019. Join us for an evening with Waymore’s Outlaws honoring Waylon Jennings with former members of Waylon Jennings recording and touring band.
Honoring the man and his music Waymore’s Outlaws consists of former members of Waylon Jennings recording and touring band, The Waylors, including Jerry “Jigger” Bridges on bass, Barny Robertson on keys, Carter Robertson on vocals, Jeff Hale on drums and steel guitarist Fred Newell. Collectively, the band performed on the recordings of Waylon’s megahits such as “I Ain’t Living Long Like This,” the Dukes of Hazzard “Good Ol’ Boys” theme, “Luckenbach Texas” and “Rainy Day Woman,” as well as countless other gold and platinum hits. Lead guitarist and singer Tommy Townsend adds to their mix of Outlaw music. Waymore’s Outlaws are keeping the spirit of Waylon Jennings and his music alive today.
Jerry “Jigger” Bridges, who spent a little over two decades out on the road with Waylon, plays bass for Waymore’s Outlaws. A native of Red Bay, Alabama, Jigger was strongly influenced by the R&amp;B emerging from nearby Muscle Shoals. Following a four-year stint as a staff musician at FAME Recording Studio, he moved to Nashville and began working with Waylon on the “Dukes of Hazzard” soundtrack. After his contributing bass work on Waylon’s Greatest Hits album, Richie and Waylon asked Jigger to join The Waylors on the road. GRAMMY Award-winning producer, arranger, and engineer Barny Robertson played keys for Waylon for many years and has produced and arranged over 50 albums. As an in-demand session player, he received the “Nashville Super Picker Award.” He has been nominated for three Dove Awards and in 1992 won a Grammy Award for producing “A Cappella Kids.” Instantly recognizable artist and vocalist 
Carter Robertson holds the distinction of being the only female member of Waylon’s band. She backed up both Waylon and his wife, Jessi Colter, on stage and in the studio. Her recording credits include Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Don Was and many others.
Fred Newell is a veteran of the Nashville studio scene who has recorded with everyone from Ray Charles to George Strait. In addition to being the staff lead guitarist on numerous TV shows, he is respected worldwide for his ability to generate feeling and sounds out of his instruments that many struggle to emulate. The first country guitarist to ever receive an endorsement from Marshall Amplifiers, Newell is a guitar legend in many circles. Fred joined Waylon’s touring band on pedal steel during the 90s after the late and legendary Ralph Mooney retired from the road.
Jeff Hale has immense touring and recording experience. While playing drums in the lounges of Memphis and attending Memphis State University, Jeff began touring and recording with Tony Joe White after Tony heard some demo recordings Jeff did with Stax Records. The songwriting connection between Tony Joe White and Waylon led to Waylon making Jeff a permanent fixture in his band, where he spent the next fourteen years honing his skills and learning every aspect of the music business from the undisputed “rebel” of outlaw country music. Jeff received recognition from Modern Drummer magazine for “Best Country Drummer” and through the years has shared the stage with many artists.
Tommy Townsend, the band’s lead guitarist and singer, is a native of Blairsville, Georgia. Waylon was a pivotal force in Townsend’s life, as Tommy had the distinction of being mentored by Waylon in his youth. The two collaborated several times over the years, with Waylon playing guitar and singing harmony on some tracks and co-producing an album on Tommy with Jerry Bridges. Waylon and his band took Tommy under their wings recording in the studio and occasionally out for appearances on the road. As a songwriter, Tommy co-wrote three of the songs on Waymore’s Outlaws CD, Same Ol’ Outlaws, which was the first of three albums released by the band.
No biography about Waylon Jennings or any of his band configurations is compete without mentioning the late Richie Albright. Waylon’s original drummer, longtime friend, and right-hand man joined Waylon and The Waylors in 1964, and he was the steadfast drummer for Waymore’s Outlaws until his passing in 2021. Richie not only toured and recorded with Waylon for decades but produced or co-produced many of Waylon’s records that are still being played on radio today. In the world of country music Richie not only made history as a drummer, songwriter, and producer, he was immortalized in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Nashville Cats exhibit in 2019. The list of artists he played and/or recorded with is a long one, including Jessi Colter, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr, Tony Joe White, and Goose Creek Symphony.

Uncle B&#8217;s Drunk With Power String Band Show is Bryan Simpson&#8217;s irreverent trippy-trad tent revival of a musical experience currently in residence in the Neon Steeple at Chief&#8217;s on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. Aka. the Damned Ole Opry &#8211; the variety show features a wildly talented slew of colorful and creative musicians, singers, and songwriters that tear things down to the stud level all in the way of a grand ole time. Each month, Uncle B’s honors a legendary record with renditions of classic songs performed on banjos, fiddles and mandolins. It’s hay bales and hell yeahs! Imagine Billy Strings meets Barnum and Bailey. Hee Haw and Half Baked had a baby. It’s best witnessed instead of discussed. Come lay eyes on it.

Bryan Simpson
Modern American eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Simpson is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country and indie eclecticism, with the playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection of his heroes which include John Hartford, Tom T Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and of course Bob Dylan.
Bryan’s songs have netted praise from all corners: The Huffington Post wrote “Bryan’s original undertakings are reminiscent of the whimsical and whip-smart work by David Byrne and Jim James”. While SeattlePi claims Simpson’s music echoes “Bowie, and Beck in the melodies, moods, and arrangements. The quest is entertaining and thought-provoking.” His genre-spanning career has included making records and touring as a singer/songwriter with luminaries as diverse as The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, bluegrass giant Ricky Skaggs and Mumford and Sons. Since leaving his hometown of Ft Worth Texas with only a fiddle, guitar, mandolin and a box fan to his name, Simpson has had many of his original songs recorded by country music standouts like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Hailey Whitters, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brandy Clark, Old Dominion, Stephen Wilson Jr., with several of them ending up with a number 1 beside their name on the Billboard and Music Row charts . He has also been awarded NSAI’s prestigious award of “10 Songs I wish I’d Written”. His songs have easily totaled over 500 million streams at this point.
This year Simpson released his first record under his own name. “The Oldest”, released in April, is a concise 11 songs in length, produced by Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan/Brandi Carlisle) and takes Simpson’s shade tree kaleidoscopic storytelling center stage

John Mailander is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN. As a performer, producer, composer, educator, and recording artist, John is known for his voice on the fiddle, mandolin, and other stringed instruments.
He is a member of <a href="http://www.brucehornsby.com/">Bruce Hornsby &amp; the Noisemakers</a>, and the leader of his own project, <a href="https://www.johnmailander.com/forecast">John Mailander’s Forecast</a>. His playing can be heard on albums by Billy Strings (including the Grammy-winning album Home), Noah Kahan, Joy Williams, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lucy Dacus, Molly Tuttle, Joe K. Walsh, Chatham County Line, Sam Burchfield, and many more.
As a touring musician, John has worked closely with artists including Billy Strings, Mighty Poplar, Lindsay Lou, Sam Grisman, Peter Rowan, Keller Williams, Bella White, Sierra Hull, Tony Trischka, Jacob Jolliff, Ruth Moody, Maya De Vitry, Lee Ann Womack, Rev. Jeff Mosier, and more. He played fiddle for the premier of Steve Martin &amp; Edie Brickell’s musical, Bright Star, in New York. As a member of Bruce Hornsby’s Noisemakers, he has had opportunities to make music on stage with artists and musical heroes such as John Scofield, Kenny Garrett, Christian McBride, Sam Amidon, Shawn Colvin, and The Wood Brothers.
 Vince Herman 
Vince Herman is a Bluegrass guitarist and singer-songwriter, best known for being one of the founding members of the band Leftover Salmon. 
Herman began playing guitar as a child. He discovered David Bromberg &amp; his Big Band while in ninth grade and says it was at that point he knew music was what he wanted to do with his life. He played his first professional gigs in the eleventh grade with local band Eddie and the Night Riders. Herman went to West Virginia University for college and began his music education by playing in a number of bands. He learned from bluegrass legends like Melvin Wine, Mose Coffman, J.P. Fraley and Dewey Balfa. 
After college, Herman moved to Colorado and met future bandmate Drew Emmitt. Over the next few years, Emmitt continued to play with the Left Hand String Band and Herman formed the Salmon Heads. The two formed Leftover Salmon a few years later, in 1989, when they combined Emmitt’s newgrass inspired Left Hand String Band and Herman’s Cajun-jugband Salmon Heads. Over the next 16 years, Leftover Salmon toured extensively, was part of the jamband scene, and played at the influential H.O.R.D.E festivals. The band went on hiatus in 2005 and Herman formed Great American Taxi, who released their debut album, Streets of Gold, in 2007. Great American Taxi toured extensively and released two more albums, 2009&#8217;s Reckless Habits and 2011&#8217;s Paradise Lost. Herman played with Great American Taxi until Leftover Salmon returned in 2013. 
In 2019, he formed the super-group High Hawks with keyboardist 
Wyatt Ellis 
Wyatt Ellis, 16-year-old mandolinist, singer, and songwriter from East Tennessee, stands out as one of the most exciting young artists in bluegrass and country music. A skilled multi-instrumentalist with a deep respect for tradition, he leads a powerhouse band known for their raw, single-mic energy and crowd-pleasing performances. By age 13, Wyatt performed at the Grand Ole Opry. At age 14, he was invited to return with his band for his Official Opry Debut, performing his original music in the Circle-an unprecedented accomplishment. Wyatt picked up the mandolin at age 10 and honed his craft during 2020, learning from many of the genre’s top musicians. His debut album, Happy Valley, a collection of original instrumentals written when he was just 11 years old, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart, marking the arrival of a bold and authentic new voice in American roots music. With a guitar slung over his shoulder and the amps turned up full tilt, Anthony Gomes electrifies blues and rock at a 21st century crossroads of his own. The Canadian vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames. Over the years, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King, tallied tens of millions of streams, and packed shows on multiple continents. In April 2025, Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album, Praise the Loud, set for release on Rat Pak Records.
“I’ve learned how to embrace my voice as a guitarist and as a singer,” he states. “I understand who I am, and I use my strengths to my advantage. I have a blues soul and a rock ‘n’ roll heart. I love to jump back and forth between both with a modern day approach. When I play rock, it’s got a little more dust on it.&#8221;
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, he fell in love with music as a kid, listening to everyone from Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix to Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen. At 14 years old, Anthony gravitated to the guitar and his relationship with the instrument was born. After grinding it out, his chops caught the attention of B.B. King’s bus driver at a jam night. Blown away, the driver introduced him to B.B. who invited him to open up a string of tour dates in 2005. Gaining invaluable knowledge from “The King,” he went on to share the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy, Robert Plant, Joe Bonamassa, Heart, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and more. Along the way, his concert attendees have included Academy® Award winner Morgan Freeman, JohnGoodman, and Vince Vaughn as well as Eric Clapton, to name a few.
2022’s High Voltage Blues vaulted to #1 on the iTunes Top Blues Albums Chart, #1 on Amazon Music’s New Release Blues Chart and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart. It remained on the Billboard Blues chart for 58 consecutive weeks, landing on &#8216;Billboard&#8217;s Top 15 Blues Albums of the Year&#8217; for both 2023 and 2024.
Meanwhile, Total Guitar listed Gomes as &#8216;One of the 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time&#8217; in 2024. Guitar World readers voted him one of “The 30 Best Blues Guitarists in the World Today” in 2019, and the publication noted, “Gomes is another power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock.”
Anthony&#8217;s latest release, 2025&#8217;s Praise the Loud, delivers 12 fresh studio tracks that showcase Anthony’s musical evolution while staying true to the no-holds-barred sound that has earned him a global fanbase.
Reflecting on the new album, Anthony shares, “On Praise the Loud, we pushed our musical boundaries in every direction. We wanted it to rock harder than anything we’ve done before, but at the same time, we wanted it to have a deeper, more soulful blues feel. When people ask me what I sound like, I say, ‘If B.B. King was in AC/DC, that’s what it would be’. That’s Praise The Loud in a nutshell.”
Gomes cites the track &#8216;Rock &amp; Roll Bluesman&#8217; as the thesis of the album. &#8220;My favorite line on the album comes from the song ‘Rock &amp; Roll Bluesman’: ‘I don’t care if they love or hate us, gonna turn it up so they won’t forget us.’ That lyric captures the spirit of the album—declaring that we’re playing blues rock on our own terms, no matter what.”
From the powerful rhythms of the album opener “Praise the Loud” to the ZZ Top-inspired groove of “Netflix &amp; Chill,” Anthony tackles a range of emotions and topics with his signature blend of layered harmonies, infectious rhythms, and blues-infused grooves. Tracks like “Meet My Maker,” “Black Diamond Heavy,” and “Electric Blues Crusade” highlight nhis ability to stretch his creative boundaries and expand his lyrical scope, while songs like “Love Song Gone Wrong” and “In the Name of the Blues” showcase his unmistakable blues guitar mastery. Produced by Peter Carson/Anthony Gomes and mixed by Chris Collier, Praise the Loud packs the punch and energy fans have come to expect from this world-class blues artist.

“I still believe in a world of guitar heroes,” he smiles. “I strive for a world where you don’t have to be 19 years old to sell a lot of records and tickets and to make a statement. I’m one of those people who doesn’t think rock, or the blues is dead. I’m looking for fresh ways to bring them together. I’m at the table rolling the dice all in the name of blues and rock ‘n’ roll. During the creative explosion that was Country music in the 1990s Suzy Bogguss sold over 4 million albums with sparkling radio hits like “Outbound Plane”, “Someday Soon”, “Letting Go,” “Drive South,” and “Hey Cinderella.”  But you can’t peg Suzy that easily… In the midst of her mainstream Country popularity she took time off to make a duets album with the legendary Chet Atkins. In 2003 she made an album of modern swing music with Ray Benson of Asleep At The Wheel. An album of original music in 2007 landed her at number 4 on the jazz charts. Her folk music roots show through in her frequent appearances on public radio’s A Prairie Home Companion, in the Grammy she earned for her work on Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster, and in her critically acclaimed album and book project from 2011, American Folk Songbook. In 2014 she released Lucky, a collection of songs written by Merle Haggard and interpreted through Suzy’s crystal vocals from the female point of view. Her latest offering, Prayin’ For Sunshine, is an Americana tour de force with all songs written by Bogguss. She continues to tour the world, both on her own and with fellow country radio divas Terri Clark and Pam Tills as “Chicks With Hits” and more recently, with Kathy Mattea on their Together At Last tour. So yes, you can call her a country singer if you want, but really that’s just the beginning.

Brei Carter
 In the heart of Monroe, Louisiana, amidst the nurturing embrace of the Deep South, Brei Carter was born into a world where faith, music, and love intertwine like the roots of ancient oaks. Raised on a rich diet of gospel hymns from the Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church, the soul-stirring melodies of Charley Pride and Loretta Lynn, and the powerful voice of Aretha Franklin, Brei’s life was been rooted in strong southern tradition and unwavering familial devotion. This foundation, layered with the sacred words of the Bible, became the bedrock of her journey.
But Brei’s path was anything but ordinary. With a relentless spirit, she pursued education with the same fervor she held for music, earning a Bachelor’s in Business from the University of Louisiana in Monroe, a Master’s in International Relations from Webster University, and a Doctorate in Theology from New Foundation Theological Seminary. Her service in the U.S. Army, both as an enlisted soldier and an officer, further shaped her resilience and dedication.
Upon setting her boots in Nashville, Brei Carter carved a niche for herself as an exquisite country soul singer-songwriter, blending the threads of country, soul, and southern pop into an electrifying tapestry of sound. Her debut single, “Gave Him A Girl,” captured hearts with its charm, earning praise for its catchy sincerity. Esteemed voices in the music world, including Music Row Magazine’s Robert K. Oermann and platforms like TBN-TV’s Huckabee, RFD-TV’s Market Day Report, The Bluegrass Situation and Billboard have all recognized her unique blend of storytelling and melody.
Brei’s journey through music is a testament to the power of dreams and the courage to chase them. Her first album, Brand New Country, not only paid homage to her roots with a beloved cover of Charley Pride’s “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’,” but also narrated her indomitable spirit in “Stronger Than That.” The release of “Straight Up Country Crazy” in 2023 revealed the vibrancy and depth of her character, while her Twinkling Tales of Christmas EP brought warmth and joy to the holiday season.
Daya Dorado
Raised in Texas in a Mexican household, Daya Dorado’s take on Country music is a fusion of those two cultures. Her self-proclaimed “Tex-Mex Country” combines classic Texan Country music with Norteño Mexican rhythms to create a music of resistance and storytelling. Awarded the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) Artist Grant in 2023, as well as Rissi Palmer’s Color Me Country Artist Grant in 2021, Daya has been able to push forward in her artistic journey to represent Latina women in Country music in a way that is genuine and true to who she is. Her influences include Linda Ronstadt, Joan Sebastian, Freddy Fender, Juan Gabriel, George Strait, Bee Gees, and Selena. Her songwriting, both in Spanish and English, reflects her trials in love and life, as well as stories of her community. Her signature accordion playing is symbolic of her Norteño Mexican roots.
Trae Taylor
Trae Tayulor is a Country music singer and songwriter from central Virginia. After serving in the United States Army Trae moved to Nashville to pursue a dream that has turned into a fulltime job. Having gone from jumping out of C-130’s to writing some of the catchiest Country music you could ever hear, Trae has become a fixture on Nashville’s writer’s round scene and also performs with a full band.

Skyelor Anderson
Born in Memphis, Skyelor Anderson has been making a name for himself in the Country scene, blending Soul, Gospel, and Country into a sound that’s all his own. A former X Factor contestant, he has opened for major acts like Jamey Johnson, Brothers Osborne, and Jon Pardi, proving he belongs on the biggest stages, holds a residency at Chief’s on Broadway and tours regularly with his band.
Ben Kadlecek
Ben is a Southern Rock/Alternative Country Artist from the Texas Hill Country town of Dripping Springs.  A piano player since the age of seven, Ben&#8217;s unique gift is the fact that he can command the stage behind both a keyboard and a guitar. He treats the craft of songwriting like a puzzle, trying to find the best way to make the pieces fit while weaving a meaningful story throughout the song. His first major cut as a songwriter is one he previously released on his own project &#8220;Brazos County Bound&#8221;.  Amen is the lead single from Nashville recording artist Jacob Bryant&#8217;s 2022 album &#8220;Barstool Preacher&#8221;.  Ben was busy in 2022 with singles &#8220;Ghosts&#8221; released in January and finding its way to BMI&#8217;s Texas Top Ten playlist and &#8220;Tell Me&#8221; landing on Spotify&#8217;s Fresh Finds Country playlist following in February. In August 2023, Ben relocated to Nashville, Tennessee fulltime.  Since moving he has been busy writing and recording new music.  A five song project released in March 2024 followed by a single &#8220;Hell Mary&#8221; in October. 2025 is already looking to be a breakout year for the young singer/songwriter.
