Luke Munday is an up-and-coming country artist based in East Nashville, known for his traditional sound and multi-instrumental skills. Born in Nashville and raised in Robertson County, Tennessee. He began playing the banjo at age 9, making his Grand Ole Opry debut at age 12 as a guest of Mike Snider. Luke has toured with Marty Raybon and performed with Bluegrass legends Bobby Osborne and Larry Sparks. His debut single, &#8220;Squeaky Wheel,&#8221; was released in September 2024, followed by &#8220;Old Folks&#8221; in November 2024.

Her songs live in the space between love and heartbreak, early-twenties girlhood, and the process of figuring things out as you go. There is a lived-in quality to her writing, grounded in small details, emotional honesty, and the kind of experiences that do not always feel big in the moment but end up sticking with you.
She typically performs solo with just her acoustic guitar, keeping her live show stripped back and song-focused. The set is simple and direct, built around storytelling and connection, letting the songs carry the room.

Texas native Beth Garner has been on the scene and around the globe as a blues and country artist since the early 2000s. She has released three albums, Much Later For You, Addictions in 2006 on British label Armadillo, and Snake Farm in 2017. Garner has toured the United States and four countries as an artist and side-woman, and currently resides in Nashville, TN, where she freelances in the styles of blues, jazz, funk and country.

Brassfield
Brassfield  is a country vocal trio based in Nashville, consisting of brothers Bradley and Chadley Brassfield and Chadley&#8217;s wife, Jessie Rose Brassfield. It&#8217;s certainly a family affair that makes for airtight three-part harmonies and a stellar vocal blend. Musical roots run deep for all of them.
The brothers were born in Tupelo, Mississippi, where music is undoubtedly a way of life. In the Brassfield bloodline, being a great singer is commonplace, and the boys are no exception to this phenomenon. Growing up, they toured the southern US playing and singing in churches, fell in love with being on stage, and knew that they wanted to continue their career together in Nashville. That&#8217;s where they met Jessie Rose. Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Jessie has spent her whole life in a musical bubble. She&#8217;s been a happy student of music from the start, and her love of music encompasses all genres.
She&#8217;s been singing, playing piano, and writing songs for as long as she can remember. She comes from a long line of professional singers/musicians/writers, her dad being JP Pennington of the country hit-making group Exile. Following in his footsteps, she moved to Nashville to pursue country music, met the boys, the stars aligned, and two important things happened. Jessie and Chadley fell in love, and the trio discovered that their three unique voices came together to form a killer vocal blend. The rest is history.
Brassfield is a popular and in-demand Nashville act. They are well known in Music City and often play five to seven shows a week. Performance credits include opening for major label acts such as Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, Lady A, Sarah Evans, Jeff Foxworthy, Trace Adkins, The Frontmen, Barenaked Ladies, Ernest, and Exile. Also, they were selected by Peyton Manning to perform at his benefit for the Pat Summitt Foundation.
Brassfield got their start as a trio by being the house band for the famous Opry Backstage Grill and hosting weekly hit songwriter nights that put them on stage with many of country music&#8217;s most prolific songwriters. All three members of Brassfield are songwriters themselves, with Chadley Brassfield being awarded a recent Grammy for his songwriting.
Bradley, Chadley, and Jessie Rose are beyond thrilled to announce that they have recently signed a record deal with Clearwater Records.

Real. Raw. Passionate. Songs that tell stories. Genre-straddling music heavily influenced by his country roots. When asked what finally inspired him to release his debut album, Thomas Gabriel accredits the timing of his music career largely to fate.
Born in Ventura, California, to Kathy Cash (one of four daughters Johnny Cash had with first wife Vivian Liberto Cash.) Thomas Gabriel spent time touring with grandparents Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash as a boy and became interested in music at an early age.
In addition to following in his family’s musical footsteps, Gabriel also followed down the path of substance abuse. His addictions led to a lengthy arrest record, and a number of years in prison.
The solitude of prison provoked him to explore songwriting again, a journey that he had begun in his youth.  After release, Thomas began paving a new path. Undoubtedly influenced by his iconic grandfather, in 2018 Gabriel began working on his debut  album, Long Way Home.
Dedicated now to telling his story in an effort to help spread awareness for those battling addiction, Thomas Gabriel continues to aim his focus on writing and releasing new music and to touring the world.
It&#8217;s been a rough road&#8230; a road less traveled, but when you meet Thomas Gabriel you&#8217;ll soon learn that each and every twist and turn has taken him from the lowest of valleys to the highest of mountain tops. His songwriting is always personal and his stories are compelling.
“When things are tough, I can pump out songs like no tomorrow. Maybe I am not as self-aware when I am happy, but I am always working on my songwriting. I love performing live. When I sing one of my own songs, I put everything that went into creating it into the performance…for me the best compliment I can get is when someone tells me that my music has helped them through a hard time or touched their heart in some way. When I look in the audience and someone is singing my lyrics back to me, that’s it &#8211; it’s the biggest thing by far.”

Janelle Arthur
Janelle is no stranger to the spotlight.  She began performing at Dollywood when she was 8 years old portraying one of her musical heroes, a young Dolly Parton.  From that time and thousands of shows later, she has had the opportunity to be a guest on The Today Show, The Kelly &amp; Michael Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Access Hollywood, and Today in Nashville. As an entertainer, Janelle has had the pleasure of opening shows for or performing with: Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Craig Morgan, and The Band Perry.  Her lifetime dream to perform on the world-famous “Grand Ole Opry” became a reality on June 19, 2013, and she has been a repeated guest many times since then.Janelle made her big screen debut with her first feature film role as the star of the Runnin’ From My Roots along with Janine Turner, Leigh Allyn Baker, Patrick Muldoon, Nia Sioux, and playing her mom in the film, country’s own… Deana Carter.  The film was released world-wide December 11, 2018.  “Runnin’ From My Roots,” the lead single and title track of the film is one of five songs co-written by Arthur, and featured on the accompanying soundtrack (produced by Deana Carter) for the faith-based drama.  The accompanying video was the single most viewed video on CMT.com at its debut and was the number 1 video in the CMT Music 12 Pack for 6 out of the 9 weeks that it aired. Smithfield
Rooted in stunning harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, Smithfield is a modern country duo inspired by one of the genre&#8217;s classic traditions: the male-female duet.Smithfield formed in 2011, drawing not only upon the family history that bound Jennifer and Trey together, but also the musical influences that set them apart. From the start, Smithfield’s music was a unique mix of the contemporary and the classic, blurring the boundaries between country, pop, and rock. There&#8217;s no lead singer in Smithfield. Dan Smalley
Dan Smalley has a voice that reminds you of some of the genres greatest. The Alaskan born military brat, who came of age in Shreveport, Louisiana, sings with deep conviction. Smalley expresses a fresh take on Country music that knows tradition, inspired and infused with the swampy sounds of his roots. Artists like Merle Haggard, Ray Charles, Al Green, and Willie Nelson provided a musical roadmap for Smalley to follow, and the against-the-grain success of Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, and Sturgill Simpson drew him to Nashville.
There, he began working with producer Keith Stegall, known for his award-winning work with the likes of Alan Jackson and Zac Brown Band. IF I’M BEING HONEST, Smalley’s debut EP produced by Stegall came out via Big Machine Records, and draws candidly on his life, delivering compelling tales of persistence, love, and redemption. Buddy's Place Writer's Round w/ Janelle Arthur, Smithfield, Dan Smalley | Chief's on Broadway

Josiah Leming has paid his dues. As a teenager from East Tennessee, his devotion to music led him to hit the road, where he lived in his car and played for anyone who would listen. That took him all the way to a major record deal when he was only nineteen. When that ended, he refused to give up and became an indie artist, relying solely on the music and his undeniable gift for crafting relatable songs that led to a devoted fan base he calls the Bonnevilles. He appreciates them so much that he includes them in his artist name. “They’re the reason I’m able to make music,” he says.
2024 saw Josiah and the Bonnevilles reaching new heights, completing a headlining tour of thirty-three sold-out dates followed by a slew of international stops that proved his global following. He has become known for raw emotion and a profound connection to his audience. This newfound attention has led to much anticipation for his new album — and As Is lives up to the expectations.
“I knew I had a responsibility to try to become a better writer, a better artist,” he says. “One day that feels like a blessing, and the next it feels pretty intimidating.” Instead of reproducing his popular sound from the self produced “Endurance”, he decided to expand it. “I think it would have been hard to keep my excitement to go out on the road with another kind of acoustic record.”
His tenth studio album finds him going more electric than ever before, even as he unplugs from the digital world. “I feel like a grizzled old veteran at this point,” he says, even though he is only thirty-six. “I’m desiring quiet, a work space away from the internet…I felt like it was important to pull back this last year and try to understand what’s on my heart.” What he found there resulted in an album focusing on joy, sorrow, and working-class issues that feel very of the moment in a time when so many Americans are struggling to make ends meet.
Leming comes by his empathy for working people honestly. He’s one of nine siblings, born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee, right in the heart of Appalachia. He taught himself piano when he was eight and was writing songs by thirteen. As a child he was intently aware of his community and intensely proud of his people, something he thinks about even more in these trying times. “I look at my family in East Tennessee and none of them are doing better in this world that we’re currently in, with all the things that are going on,” Leming says. “Being a regular person, working, trying your best. I think that’s something to be proud of.”
His records have always been intensely personal. But on As Is he wanted to step away from being the main character and instead use vignettes to express essential truths he has learned. “I want anyone to be able to put it on and not think about me when they&#8217;re
listening. I want them to be in the emotion.” Because of this he made a conscious choice to not include himself on the album cover.
Leming chose ten tracks from ninety-six songs he has written over the last year and a half. As Is features the most co-writes he has ever recorded. “I love writing alone, but I wanted to bring in some trusted partners on this one,” he says. The resulting list features some of the best songwriters working today. There’s Nashville powerhouse Natalie Hemby, a two-time Grammy winner who has written for everyone from Lady Gaga to Miranda Lambert; Joel Little, a Grammy winner who has written with Lorde, Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, and many others; Scott Harris, best known for work he’s produced or written for artists such as Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, and The Chainsmokers; and others.
To help him find the sound he hoped to achieve, Leming brought in Konrad Snyder as a co-producer. Snyder has engineered or produced some of the best work to come out of Nashville in the last decade, including tracks by Kacey Musgraves, Stephen Sanchez, and Noah Kahan. “It was an amazing partnership with Konrad,” Leming says. “I never had to touch a computer or a piece of gear; he&#8217;s a whiz with all that stuff. I’m usually so hands-on with my stuff, switching between setting up, tracking and editing but on this record I got to just perform the songs.”
The songs on As Is feature Leming’s vivid sense of place, precise yet poetic lyrics, and emotion that is always longingly expressed by his vulnerable vocals. This collection is more up-tempo than most of his work, which is something Leming and Snyder strived to make happen on about half the songs. “I was thinking a lot about the energy, of having a couple songs that can amp up people at live shows,” he says.
This power is especially apparent on songs like opening track “Good Boy”, which boils toward a rousing breakdown, “Carolina Heart”, a tune Leming calls “less existential and my attempt at a feel-good song,“ and “Going Going Gone”, a nostalgic track about the passage of time. “Mountain Girl” is a foot-tapping harmonica-led tribute to Appalachian women. There’s the jaunty rock of “Red Line”, and a song called “One Day at a Time” that is sure to resonate with anyone who has ever struggled with addiction, depression, or a lack of confidence. Leming’s fans often cite his storytelling abilities as one reason they love his work, and that takes center stage on the title track, a spoken-word song. “Where It Starts” is a meditation on how heartache can lead to great art. The first single is the powerful “Hell Without the Flames,” the album’s darkest track that also showcases some of the best lyrics and vocals of his career.
They all make for a collection of songs that take the listener full circle. “There’s all these kinds of love stories, and it walks through many variations on heartbreak, ultimately landing on home, acceptance and overcoming that hurt. I just want people to be able to see themselves in the songs.”
That’s what it’s all about for Leming. “The only goal for me is to make something real, and honest, and that can get them through the day,” he says. “I gave everything I have for this album. I laid it all on the table, which is what I always want to do.”
As Is proves to be all of that, and more, a milestone for one of our most authentic and resonant artists working today.

With a guitar slung over his shoulder and the amps turned up full tilt, Anthony Gomes electrifies blues and rock at a 21st century crossroads of his own. The Canadian vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames. Over the years, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King, tallied tens of millions of streams, and packed shows on multiple continents. In April 2025, Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album, Praise the Loud, set for release on Rat Pak Records.
“I’ve learned how to embrace my voice as a guitarist and as a singer,” he states. “I understand who I am, and I use my strengths to my advantage. I have a blues soul and a rock ‘n’ roll heart. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, he fell in love with music as a kid, listening to everyone from Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix to Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen. At 14 years old, Anthony gravitated to the guitar and his relationship with the instrument was born. After grinding it out, his chops caught the attention of B.B. King’s bus driver at a jam night. Blown away, the driver introduced him to B.B. who invited him to open up a string of tour dates in 2005. Gaining invaluable knowledge from “The King,” he went on to share the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy, Robert Plant, Joe Bonamassa, Heart, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and more. Along the way, his concert attendees have included Academy® Award winner Morgan Freeman, JohnGoodman, and Vince Vaughn as well as Eric Clapton, to name a few.
2022’s High Voltage Blues vaulted to #1 on the iTunes Top Blues Albums Chart, #1 on Amazon Music’s New Release Blues Chart and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart. It remained on the Billboard Blues chart for 58 consecutive weeks, landing on &#8216;Billboard&#8217;s Top 15 Blues Albums of the Year&#8217; for both 2023 and 2024.
Meanwhile, Total Guitar listed Gomes as &#8216;One of the 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time&#8217; in 2024. Guitar World readers voted him one of “The 30 Best Blues Guitarists in the World Today” in 2019, and the publication noted, “Gomes is another power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock.”
Anthony&#8217;s latest release, 2025&#8217;s Praise the Loud, delivers 12 fresh studio tracks that showcase Anthony’s musical evolution while staying true to the no-holds-barred sound that has earned him a global fanbase.
Reflecting on the new album, Anthony shares, “On Praise the Loud, we pushed our musical boundaries in every direction. We wanted it to rock harder than anything we’ve done before, but at the same time, we wanted it to have a deeper, more soulful blues feel. When people ask me what I sound like, I say, ‘If B.B. Formed in 1995, Save Ferris remains one of the seminal and most beloved bands from the third wave of ska. The group’s Orange County home was fertile ground for a thriving music scene, with punk, rock, and ska emerging from the region. Save Ferris blended the best elements of these sounds to help bring the region’s sound to the world.
The group’s humble beginnings saw them play house parties and local venues, powered by Monique Powell’s high-octane vocals. Save Ferris’ live show instantly became a hit. As the word spread, the band got a much-needed boost. Legendary KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer got a hold of the band’s self-released album. He played their cover of Dexys Midnight Runners “Come on Eileen” on his Rodney on the ROQ show and the response was overwhelming. Soon thereafter, Kevin Weatherly picked up the song and it was added to the legendary taste-making rock station’s rotation. All of this happened independently without a record label and with Powell serving as the singer and band manager.
Major labels started noticing the buzz that was emanating from Orange County. In 1996, the band won a Grammy showcase award for best unsigned band, and with Epic Records’ David Massey as one of the judges, Save Ferris would sign with the label. Epic re-released the Introducing Save Ferris EP and, in 1997, Save Ferris unleashed their debut album, It Means Everything. Save Ferris toured the world for the better part of the next six years, with 1999’s Modified released during that time.
In 2003, the band went on a hiatus. Starting in 2004, Powell switched gears and used her vocal talents to become a go-to studio musician. She appeared on albums for The Used, Goldfinger, Foxy Shazam, Lost Prophets, Mest, and Hilary Duff, among many others. Slowly, however, Powell started having health issues. In 2015, after years of painful back issues, she underwent a risky procedure to fix her broken neck that could have damaged her greatest musical weapon: her vocal cords. Ahead of the procedure, Powell made a promise to her father, who had been begging her to return to the stage: if the surgery was successful, she’d bring back Save Ferris. And it was a success.
That year, Powell, with a new cast of characters, reformed Save Ferris. The hype surrounding the band was massive. After months of rehabilitation, Powell brought Save Ferris home to Orange County where it played a sold-out show at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa. Another giant show at the Santa Monica Pier, with over 20,000 people in attendance, was put out on vinyl. These raucous shows proved that the band wasn’t just back, but ready to roar.
Through a crowdfunded campaign in 2016, Powell and her bandmates went into the studio to record a new EP. Titled Checkered Past, the collection was released the following year, and produced by John Avila of Oingo Boingo. The EP featured an appearance by Neville Staple of The Specials, one of Powell’s favorite artists.
Following Checkered Past’s release, Save Ferris played the entire 2017 Warped Tour on the main stage, headlined shows, and played festivals across the world.
The future is as bright as it has been for Save Ferris in a long time. Powell scrapped a record she wrote prior to the pandemic and is currently at work on the first new Save Ferris album in nearly two decades. The band recently packed the House of Blues in Anaheim, playing in front of fans of all ages. Powell is the centerpiece of the action. Her dazzling on- stage presence continues to wow audiences and the band’s energy is infectious. Save Ferris are out to prove that they’re no nostalgia act, with their best days still ahead of them.

Larry Gatlin
Over the course of a five-decade career that has taken the Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers from dusty Texas stages to White House performances, from Broadway to Grammy Awards to the top of the country charts, there has been one unifying element, music. Raised on Gospel music, the brothers first began entertaining audiences in churches and then with guest appearances on the Slim Willet radio and TV shows in Abilene, Texas when they were 2, 4, and 6 years old.
Larry says that their history as “gospel music junkies” came from those early roots.” My first hero was James Blackwood of the Blackwood Brothers Quartet-I just knew somehow from that moment that I wanted to be a singer for the rest of my life.” After high school, Larry went to the University of Houston on a football scholarship. He majored in English and quickly developed “a love affair with the English language” that later served him well in his songwriting. On the strength of his song writing talents and exceptional vocal ability, his life was changed by the legendary Dottie West who saw gold just under the unpolished surface of young Gatlin. Larry, aided by West, moved to Nashville to write songs that would be recorded by names like Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Barbara Streisand, Tom Jones, and yes, Elvis Presley. In 1972, Larry landed a solo deal with Monument Records through friend Kris Kristofferson and invited his siblings up to Nashville to sing backup on his first two albums—1974’s The Pilgrim and 1975’s Rain Rainbow. The release of The Pilgrim landed Gatlin his first hit with “Sweet Becky Walker,” and then found himself at #1 on the charts the next year with “Broken Lady,” a song that captured him a Grammy in 76′. The same year all three brothers were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. 1977’s High Time, credited to “Larry Gatlin with Brothers and Friends,” featured the No.1 hit “I Just Wish You Were Someone I Love.” The success of this album encouraged the brothers to become an official trio and in 1979, they signed a group deal with Columbia records. In concert, their performances were simply magical events, filled with incredible family harmonies, total professionalism, and downright fun for both the trio and their audiences. Over the next decade the Brothers scored more than a dozen Top 40 hits, including “Denver,”
“Houston (Means That I’m One Day Closer To You),” “Midnight Choir (Mogen David),” and “She Used To Be Somebody’s Baby,” “I Don’t Want To Cry,” “Statues Without Hearts,” “What Are We Doing Lonesome,” “I’ve Done Enough Dyin’ Today,” “Take Me To Your Lovin’ Place,” “Night Time Magic,” “Love Is Just A Game,” “The Lady Takes The Cowboy Every Time,” and “Talkin’ To The Moon.” It was also in 79′ that Larry Gatlin won the ACM’s “Top Male Vocalist,” Straight Ahead won “Album of the Year,” and “All The Gold In California” won “Single of the Year.”
Throughout the 70’s and 80’s, the Gatlin Brothers lit up major marquees and packed concert halls across America. Then, in 1992 after much soul searching and prayer, the brothers made a decision to stop touring. They ended with “The Adios Tour” along with an accompanying album release of the same name. Explains Larry, “We just thought our time in the spotlight was probably over. No matter the genre his music is classified under, Cain strives to create songs that are both hopeful and timeless. He’s now a Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame inductee and longtime Journey member. However, at one point he was struggling to make it as a musician in Los Angeles. Rather than giving up, he chose to be encouraged by his father’s words, “don’t stop believin’. Cain pressed on, and eventually joined The Babys before being asked to join Journey. Cain rounded out the lineup and songwriting prowess on the band’s defining, 9X Multi-Platinum album Escape, which fittingly opens with the 5X Platinum single, “Don’t Stop Believin.”  Along with penning Journey’s mega hit “Faithfully,” Cain co-created huge anthems for the band, including “ “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” “Who’s Crying Now,” and “Only The Young.” Cain’s musical ventures, including co-founding supergroup: Bad English, have earned him numerous accolades. The Dedicated Men of Zion come from a singing tradition that has flourished for decades in eastern North Carolina, around the city of Greenville and its small neighboring town of Farmville. Trained in the church and the home, the group’s four vocalists share the bond of that music and the literal bond of kinship. They are all related by blood or marriage.
Sharing bonds of music and blood kinship, the members of the Dedicated Men of Zion bring down a joyfully harmonious version of the gospel in a style so akin to soul music that we refer to it as “sacred soul.”.
Theirs is a community dense with talent and legendary impact on the origins of gospel, funk, R&amp;B, soul, and jazz; a place where the sounds of Saturday night and Sunday morning couldn’t help but jump their lanes. The group’s own backgrounds tell that story. Anthony Daniels, the eldest of the group, led a career in R&amp;B down in Atlanta, backing up the likes of Bebe Winans, Toni Braxton, and Elton John. Antoine Daniels, the youngest member and son of Anthony, was playing keyboards and organ in church while simultaneously injecting his hip-hop production work with traditional gospel roots. But the church was always the backbone.
Dedicated Men of Zion caught the attention of the  Music Makers Relief Foundation while opening a church concert for the Glorifying Vines Sisters, the longstanding Farmville gospel group composed of Anthony&#8217;s mother and aunts. The group ultimately signed to &#8216;s artist management roster. Through , the group connected with Bruce Watson&#8217;s ( Fat Possum Records)) newly founded record label Bible &amp; Tire Recording Company
Dedicated Men of Zion recorded their debut album, Can&#8217;t Turn Me Around, in Memphis at Watson&#8217;s Delta-Sonic Sound studio backed by a star-studded band of studio aces. The album&#8217;s songs were covers of tunes drawn from the label&#8217;s catalog of obscure sacred soul recordings from Memphis. The 2020 release won national notice resulting in many invitations to perform and tour. The COVID-19 pandemic shut down the globe that March, making travel impossible. Critical attention from the release spawned an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, a virtual set at the year&#8217;s globalFEST, and Fresh Grass Fest. In late 2021, Dedicated Men of Zion returned to Memphis to record with Watson and his all-star studio group, the Sacred Soul Sound Section. The quartet issued the single &#8220;Lord Hold My Hand&#8221; in January 2022. The ten-song full-length The Devil Don&#8217;t Like It appeared in March.
In 2026 their third album Coming Up Through the Years (co-produced by Jimbo Mathus of the Squirrel Nut Zippers and Bruce Watson of Fat Possum Records).

Craig Campbell put together a string of hits like “Family Man,” “Fish,” “Keep Them Kisses Comin’,” “Outta My Head,” and the gold-certified “Outskirts of Heaven” before launching Grindstone Recordings in 2020. Last year, he released his Class of ’89 album, six classic country hits that represent the core influences who helped mold his desire to pursue a career as an artist and songwriter, and Almost Greatest Hits, re-recordings of six of his smash hits.
This year marks his most ambitious yet, as he has assembled a team of music industry professionals to take his “Missing You” single to country radio. His touring schedule will surpass any in recent years, as he criss-crosses the country and makes a return tour of Europe. He and his wife, Mindy, opened their award-winning Grindstone Cowboy coffee shop, restaurant and music venue in their adopted home town of Eagleville, Tennessee in 2022, and their second location is in the renovation stages in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Craig started the Kenny Campbell Foundation in 2023 in honor of his father who passed away from colorectal cancer at age 36. His 10th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge raised over $28,000 for the Foundation last year, and he has raised over $1,000,000 for various colorectal and colon cancer causes.

Born in Miami, during World War II, Chris Smither grew up in New Orleans where he first started playing music as a child. The son of a Tulane University professor, he was taught the rudiments of instrumentation by his uncle on his mother’s ukulele. “Uncle Howard,” Smither says, “showed me that if you knew three chords, you could play a lot of the songs you heard on the radio. And if you knew four chords, you could pretty much rule the world.” With that bit of knowledge under his belt, he was hooked. “I’d loved acoustic music – specifically the blues – ever since I first heard Lightnin’ Hopkins’ Blues In My Bottle album. I couldn’t believe the sound Hopkins got. At first I thought it was two guys playing guitar. My style, to a degree, came out of trying to imitate that sound I heard.”
In his early twenties, Smither turned his back on his anthropology studies and headed to Boston at the urging of legendary folk singer Eric von Schmidt. It was the mid-’60s and acoustic music thrived in the streets and coffeehouses there. Smither forged lifelong friendships with many musicians, including Bonnie Raitt who went on to record his songs, “Love You Like A Man” and “I Feel the Same. (Their friendship has endured as their career paths intertwined over the years.) What quickly evolved from his New Orleans and Cambridge musical experiences is his enduring, singular guitar sound – a beat-driven finger-picking, strongly influenced by the playing of Mississippi John Hurt and Lightnin’ Hopkins, layered over the ever-present backbeat of his rhythmic, tapping feet (always mic’d in performance).
Smither’s first albums, I’m A Stranger, Too! (1971) and Don’t It Drag On (1972) were released on Poppy Records, home of kindred spirit Townes Van Zandt. By the time Smither recorded his third album, Honeysuckle Dog with Lowell George and Dr. John helping out, United Artists had absorbed Poppy and ultimately dropped much of their roster, including Smither. Smither made his next record in 1985, when the spare It Ain’t Easy on Adelphi Records marked his return to the studio.
By the early ’90s, Smither’s steady nationwide touring and regular release of consistently acclaimed albums cemented his reputation as one of the finest acoustic musicians in the country. His 1991 album, Another Way to Find You, was recorded live in front of an in-studio audience with no overdubs or second takes. This would be the first of two albums with Flying Fish Records. His next recording, Happier Blue, was embraced by Triple A radio and received the NAIRD (now AFIM) award as Best Folk Recording of 1993. Up On The Lowdown (1995) marked the first of a trio of albums to be recorded with producer Stephen Bruton at The Hit Shack in Austin and his first of five albums with roots label HighTone Records. Up On the Lowdown rode the crest of the newly formed Americana radio format wave and sparked considerable interest abroad. A tour of Australia with Dave Alvin and extensive solo touring in Europe led to an expanding global interest in Smither. His song, “I Am the Ride,” from this album inspired the independent film, The Ride, for which Smither also composed the original score.
In early 1997 Smither released Small Revelations. It climbed the Americana and Triple A radio charts and led to concert dates with B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, Nanci Griffith, and the hugely successful, original Monsters of Folk’ tour with Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Dave Alvin and Tom Russell. Small Revelations also generated several film projects for Smither. Emmylou Harris recorded his song, “Slow Surprise,” for the The Horse Whisperer soundtrack on MCA. And his recording of “Hold On” was used in the indie feature film Love From Ground Zero.
His CD, Drive You Home Again (1999), garnered four-stars from Rolling Stone. And with it, Smither continued to tour world-wide. Shortly after, in 2000, Smither released his one-man-tour-de-force, Live As I’ll Ever Be. Recorded in-concert at various clubs and concert halls in California, Dublin, Galway, Boston, and Washington DC, it has proven to be a fan favorite, capturing Smither at what he loves to do: performing in front of an audience.
Train Home (2003) was Smither’s last record for HighTone and his first with producer David Goodrich. Over a six-week period, basic tracks for Train Home were recorded in the relaxed environment of Smither’s home near Boston. Working with new session musicians, the record is simultaneously sparse and assured. Bonnie Raitt graciously provided backing vocals and slide guitar on Smither’s cover of Bob Dylan’s “Desolation Row.” And Smither’s “Seems So Real” from the CD earned a Folk Alliance Award as “Song of the Year.”
In 2005, jazz great Diana Krall covered “Love Me Like A Man,” introducing what is now a blues standard to a whole world of jazz fans. Shortly after, Smither’s song “Slow Surprise” was included in the independent film, Brother’s Shadow. In addition, Smither narrated a two-CD audio book recording of “Will Rogers’ Greatest Hits.” Continuing to expand his creative horizon, Smither was invited to contribute an essay to Sixty Things to Do When You Turn Sixty, a 2006 collection of essays by American luminaries on reaching that milestone. In 2009, Melville House published Amplified, a book featuring 16 short stories by notable American performing songwriters. Smither’s story Leroy Purcell about a touring musician’s encounter with a Texas State Patrolman leads off the collection.
With the release of his 12th recording Leave The Light On (2006) on his own imprint, Mighty Albert, Smither began a new label relationship with the renowned acoustic and modern folk label, Signature Sounds. For the recording, Smither reunited with producer David Goodrich and session musicians Mike Piehl, Lou Ulrich and Anita Suhanin. As an added treat, Smither invited good friend and Grammy Award-winning multi- instrumentalist, Tim O’Brien, along with rising American roots stars, Ollabelle, to add their distinctive talents on several tracks. Smither followed this with Time Stands Still (2009), his most stripped down recording in some time, working with just two accompanists after the same trio had played a rare band performance – a non-solo setup required in order to play a Netherlands festival.
In 2011 Smither put out two fan projects: a collection of live tracks from newly discovered concert recordings from the 1980s-1990s titled Lost and Found and the rollicking EP, What I Learned in School, on which Smither covered six classic rock and roll songs.
Smither followed these fan-projects with Hundred Dollar Valentine (2012), a ★★★★★ (MOJO) studio record of all Smither-penned songs. With longtime producer David “Goody” Goodrich at the helm, this collection sported Smither’s trademark acoustic guitar sound and evocative sonic textures meshed with spare, brilliant songs, delivered in a bone-wise, hard-won voice.
The coffee table style book Chris Smither Lyrics 1966-2012 and Signature Sounds’ Link of Chain – an all-star tribute record including a stellar list of artists offering their takes on some Smither favorites including Josh Ritter, Bonnie Raitt, Loudon Wainwright III, Dave Alvin, Peter Case, Tim O’Brien, Patty Larkin, and many others were fan-favorite accompaniments to the retrospective CD .
In March 2018, Smither released his eighteenth record, Call Me Lucky once again teaming up with producer and multi-instrumentalist David Goodrich. Also joined by Billy Conway (Morphine) and Matt Lorenz (The Suitcase Junket).
In October 2020, More From The Levee, the followup to the 50-year career retrospective Still on the Levee, was released. Said Acoustic Guitar: Smither sings about “the big things – life, love, loss – in a penetrating and poetic yet unpretentious way.”
The 20th release, All About the Bones was as elemental as the inky black shadows cast by a shockingly bright moon. Featuring eight brand new Chris Smither songs and Smither renditions of Eliza Gilkyson’s “Calm Before the Storm” and also Tom Petty’s “Time to Move On”, the listener is welcomed into some gothic mansion on an imaginary New Orleans street, and there in the lamplit parlor confronts the band, a minimalist skeleton crew: Smither’s inimitable propulsive guitar and rumbling baritone are joined seamlessly to producer David Goodrich’s carpetbag of instruments, Zak Trojano’s rock-steady, primal drumming, BettySoo’s diaphanous harmony vocals, and the flat, mournful flood of Jazz legend Chris Cheek’s saxophone. Recorded at Sonelab Studios in Easthampton MA by Justin Pizzoferrato All About the Bones has a feel that is somehow baroque and austere at once.
In 2026, the independent film The Singers, in which Chris made his acting debut, won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short. Directed by Sam Davis, Chris joined producer Jack Piatt and fellow cast members at the Oscars to celebrate.

Brinley Addington is a hit country singer/songwriter whose passion for music began at age three after a family trip to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry. Influenced early on by 90’s and traditional country music, the Kingsport, TN native always knew Nashville was in his future and moved to Music City in 2008 to attend Belmont University. Brit Taylor
On her new album, Land of the Forgotten, Brit Taylor takes us to her much discussed and misunderstood homeland, Appalachia, with songs that reveal the complex heart and complicated people of the place. Taylor is an accomplished singer-songwriter who has been performing professionally since she was a child. She has always taken the bull by the horns; Taylor has spent seven nights a week singing on Broadway, cold-called record execs, and she even formed a cleaning business to help finance her first album, Real Me, on which Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) co-wrote five of the songs. Only three years later she found herself being produced by two of the most sought-after producers in Nashville: Grammy winners Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson. Since then she has made her Grand Ole Opry debut, gained a devoted following as she toured the whole country, and garnered praise from the likes of NPR, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and American Songwriter.  Land of the Forgotten will be released March 6th 2026 by RidgeTone Records. Leah Blevins
If it sounds too dire to imagine, Leah Blevins’ incandescent sense of fate, faith and kindness gives the torch-pop country doyenne a light saber of clarity that cuts through emotions with dignity and a real sense of self. The Sandy Hook, Kentucky-born songstress lived in a space that was deeply present. The daughter of a dentist who became a career politician, and a teenage gospel quartet pianist who fell into deep addiction, she knows the reality of oatmeal baths in red water, no heat in the winter and finding out the teacher giving your family refuge was also your mother’s supplier before she got sober over 20 years ago.
It makes All Dressed Up, her Dan Auerbach-produced Easy Eye Sound debut, an album that will hit people wherever they live and offer insight into the struggles of those they love without ever preaching or judging the ones battling faithless love, drug problems, or struggling to believe in themselves.
“We got tossed off a lot,” the amber-headed Blevins explains. “My older sister and her husband took us in. I was in the 8th grade, and we all lived together ’til I graduated. My mom came from the Hatfields; her maiden name was Justice, and she started playing the piano in church at the age of twelve.”
Music, though, won out. Living with her siblings, she started singing background vocals in their band; Patty Loveless, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert and The Judds informed their sound. By the time Blevins was studying Communications at Morehead State, Elliot Collett &amp; the Articles swept her away to Nashville in 2011. Though the band didn’t last long, the ethics she learned from touring by the age of 20 gave her a compass, and in 2014 she made a choice after a lifetime of singing background vocals to pursue a career as a solo artist.

Ella Gibson
Ella Gibson is a singer-songwriter from Orange County, California. Growing up in theatre and playing piano, she&#8217;s always had a love of music and performing, but transitioned into writing when she began learning guitar and ukulele at age eight, later picking up the mandolin at thirteen, and music production at fourteen. Songwriting and emotional connection have always been Ella’s driving forces in music. Inspired by artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Taylor Swift, Lizzy McAlpine, The Japanese House, and Elliott Smith, her sound can be described as tender, honest, and heart-plucking acoustic indie pop. Whether a project is individual or collaborative, she’s excited by creating and performing works with meaning and complexity, and thoroughly enjoys the processes of writing, recording, and producing. She’s been named a winner in YoungArts Pop Voice, semi-finalist in OC Register’s Artist of the Year in Vocal Music, a semi-finalist in the 2024 Unsigned Only Music Competition, and most recently awarded Judge’s Choice Best Overall Act of UCLA’s 2025 Spring Sing.

Modern American eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Simpson is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country and indie eclecticism, with the playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection of his heroes which include John Hartford, Tom T Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and of course Bob Dylan.

Since leaving his hometown of Ft Worth Texas with only a fiddle, guitar, mandolin and a box fan to his name, Simpson has had many of his original songs recorded by country music standouts like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Hailey Whitters, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brandy Clark, Old Dominion, Stephen Wilson Jr., with several of them ending up with a number 1 beside their name on the Billboard and Music Row charts . He has also been awarded NSAI’s prestigious award of “10 Songs I wish I’d Written”. His songs have easily totaled over 500 million streams at this point.

Wayne Hancock is that rare breed of traditionalist: one who imbues his retro obsessions with such high energy and passion that his songs never feel like museum pieces he&#8217;s trying desperately to preserve. Shotgun Granny is a bluegrass collective born from friendship, spontaneity  and a deep love of craft. Founded by Kevin MaC, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and entrepreneur, the band’s story began with a simple phone call—one that would spark something much bigger than anyone expected.
Kevin reached out to his friend and musical hero, the late Ronnie Bowman, asking him to lend his voice to a song he had written titled “Carolina When I Die.” What started as a single collaboration quickly turned into years of friendship and mentorship. Kevin in turn, brought Ronnie’s former Lonesome River Band bandmate, Dan Tyminski, to also feature on the track.
Chiefs Neon Steeple stage is where Dan, Ronnie and Kevin would enjoy playing their songwriter round “Pick Pick Pass”. The chemistry was undeniable. One song became a shared realization: “Hey, this was fun—why don’t we make an entire album?”
From that moment on, Shotgun Granny took shape. Led by MaC, Shotgun Granny is a gathering of some of the finest pickers in the bluegrass world. But more than anything, it’s a group of close friends who simply love to collaborate and jam together. There’s no formula—just great musicians, genuine camaraderie, and an honest passion for the music.
Now, Shotgun Granny invites you to experience their debut project live before its release featuring special guest and bluegrass legend Dan Tyminski.  The night will blend heartfelt originals with a few special tunes that capture the spirit of the band—raw, authentic, and rooted in the joy of buddies making music together.
Dan Tyminski
Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. Tyminski’s voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley Brother’s classic song, “I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow,” in the film, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou, bringing bluegrass into focus for millions of new fans. His vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey, Brother” was a global smash, having been streamed over 1 billion times to date.
Dan has also contributed guitar and/or harmony to projects by Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Aaron Lewis and Rob Thomas, to name a few. In addition to his highly successful solo career, Dan has played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss &amp; Union Station since 1994. His unmatched instrumental skills and burnished, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band.
He has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards, was named Male Vocalist of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association 4 times and was recognized as 2004’s Male Vocalist of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America.
In 2022, Tyminski released the EP &#8220;One More Time Before You Go: A Tribute to Tony Rice&#8221; featuring guest appearances by Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Todd Phillips, Sam Bush, Dailey &amp; Vincent.
Kevin MaC
Songwriter, artist and entrepreneur Kevin MaC jump-started his music career in 2014 with an L.A. publishing deal. Kevin has since honed his craft, and his performance skills, having since written with legendary Nashville hit-makers Keith Stegall and Buddy Cannon,Grammy award-winning songwriters Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lower and even with “young blood” tunesmiths who’ve penned hits for Zac Brown Band, Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. Kevin has shared the stage with a variety of artists, including Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts, Kip Moore, and The Band Perry.

Her writing style varies from deep-rooted, front porch bluegrass and mountain music, to country, to pop, to heavy power punk rock, and most everything in between.  Howard was a featured vocalist on Jim Brickman&#8217;s  &#8220;Simple Things&#8221; and enjoyed the #1 slot on the Adult Contemporary chart, but she is best known for her smash hit &#8220;Forgive&#8221;, which is still a favorite among fans and critics alike.  Howard is the bassist/vocalist in Steven Tyler’s country band Loving Mary. They have completed both a North American and European tour. Howard signed with country star Lee Brice’s record label Pumphouse Records where she recently released a brand new album “I’m Not Who You Think I Am”.

Carolyn Dawn Johnson
The life and career of hit singer-songwriter Carolyn Dawn Johnson (aka CDJ) has been a tapestry vibrantly colored with musical notes and journeys in many directions. Her road has been well-travelled, full of a variety of musical endeavors and accomplishments. 20 years after her initial trend setting success, she remains a force and go to in the country music industry and a live performer that leaves the audience hanging on every word.
Johnson was named Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year in 2000 by Music Row, and has continued to carry that title well as one of the town’s most loved and respected tunesmiths around. Writing accomplishments are vast including recordings by Chris Stapleton, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Patty Loveless, Lennon &amp; Maisy Stella, Mindy McCready, Kathy Mattea, Pam Tillis, SheDaisy Lila McCann, Suzy Bogguss, Linda Davis, Jo Dee Messina &amp; including the ground breaking #1 song sung by Chely Wright, “Single White Female.”
After inking a record deal with Sony’s Arista Nashville in 2000, Johnson produced music of her own with the release of her debut album titled Room With a View. The critically acclaimed project spawned the Top 5 smash “Complicated,” on the country chart,  also climbing the AC charts as well. She had other hit singles such as “Georgia,” “Simple Life” and “I Don’t Want You to Go.” During that time, Johnson criss-crossed the country on many high-profile tours with acts like Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. Her albums to follow included Dress Rehearsal in 2004, and her independently released Love &amp; Negotiation in 2006 and Love Rules in 2010.
Besides laying down vocals for her own albums, Johnson’s angelic voice can also be heard on several outside projects with Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Jana Kramer, Johnny Reid, Blake Shelton, Dan+Shay, Brett Kissel, Drake White, The Eli Young Band, Darius Rucker, Lauren Alaina, Kenny Rogers, Loretta Lynn, and Patty Loveless. In addition ohnson has also garnered such elite titles as the Canadian Country Music Awards’ Producer of the Year in 2004 and 2009 for her hand in producing one of many Canadian-based projects.
Through it all, the multi-talented Johnson continues to chip away at her own craft. She expanded her repertoire and wrote a song with the multi-talented singer/actresses the Stella sisters (Lennon &amp; Maisy) and it developed into a children’s book called, “In The Waves.” . In 2014 &amp; 2015 she spent time on the road singing background vocals &amp; playing guitar for Miranda Lambert on her Platinum tour.
To date, Johnson has racked up 17 CCMA’s, as well as being crowned the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female Vocalist in 2002. The American Music Awards hailed her as Favorite New Country Artist the following year. Always doing some of her own solo shows, she is also currently doing a variety of dates with her talented friends Jamie O’Neal and Anita Cochran, calling themselves the 3 Blondes Rock into a Room, as well as opening and singing and playing guitar for the legendary Martina McBride.

In 2022, she launched SoNash Publishing, then doubled down with her own vision: Tatum Town — a hub for mentoring, producing, and developing artists who bring something fresh and fearless. That vision has exploded into songwriter showcases and the community. Bridgette Tatum &amp; Friends, born in Nashville and ongoing for 10 + years, is now expanding nationwide! In 2024, she partnered with Stable Reserve in Franklin, TN, to launch the Stable Songwriter Series, with festival projects lining up around the corner. In one of her most defining chapters yet, and a complete full circle of one of her greatest influences, she had the honor of sitting down with Leslie Satcher and Beth Bernard to pen three songs with Trisha Yearwood for Trisha’s first-ever songwriter album, The Mirror —  to include the title cut “The Mirror”, “Bringing the Angels” and “Little Lady” in 2025.
Music is just part of the mission. Bridgette pours her time and heart into charities across Middle Tennessee and beyond, living out her belief: “If it’s real and you’re makin’ honest music, people connect. Do it with integrity and passion, and it reflects not just your gift, but your soul.”
