Come join us for a great night of live music, stories and songs with some of Nashville’s best singer songwriter/artists on Monday May 26th at 7:00 pm as Buddy’s Place welcomes KAYLEY BISHOP, JP BURR and duo, STRIKING MATCHES to the Neon Steeple located in the heart of Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway!
If you haven’t heard KAYLEY BISHOP perform live yet just do yourself a favor and make plans to be at this show! One of Nashville’s best powerhouse live performers with musical influences from multiple genres, Kayley is an incredible songwriter and storyteller as well and music lovers all over the world are discovering her great music. She was a featured artist on season 15 of NBC’s The Voice and recently released her full-length debut album “Little Dove”, a very special collection of songs that will find you hitting the repeat button again and again!
An in-demand session and touring guitarist, JP BURR is also one of Nashville’s best up and coming singer songwriter/artists on the rise. JP has toured with Country superstars Luke Combs and Ashley McBryde just to name a few. He’s an accomplished guitarist as well as vocalist and proof of that can be heard on a recent single release “My Condition.” His influences cross several genres of music and will be showcased in new songs set to be released this Spring and Summer.We’re so excited to have JP making his Buddy’s Place debut.
Music duo STRIKING MATCHES (Sarah Zimmerman and Justin Davis) officially formed in 2007 after meeting at a guitar class at Nashville’s Belmont University. Both first class musicians as well as gifted singers and songwriters, the duo made their public performance debut at the world famous Bluebird Café and released their debut ep in 2012! Nine of their original songs were featured in the ABC and CMT popular TV series “Nashville” during the show’s 7 seasons run. We’re excited to host this incredibly talented duo for their debut at Buddy’s Place and you do not want to miss the haunting tightly knit harmonies and musicianship of Striking Matches live on stage!
What started as a series of house concerts in 2011 has steadily grown over the years and now finds itself hosting a special residency in the Neon Steeple at Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway – wea are determined to hold true to a promise made to fellow music lovers that Buddy’s Place is “where you won’t hear crap!
