==============

Dana Soréy is an American producer, arranger, composer, songwriter, and the founder of C Bazz Entertainment and C Blake Studios. God began to cultivate his ear and his love for chords and melodies from a very young age. Shedding in garages with his brothers and the neighborhood musicians began the musical journey, and became the training ground for honing his craft towards becoming a consummate musician. One of Dana’s most cherished achievements was being a part of one of the most notable bands in gospel music history, Soundcheck, with Tye Tribbett and Greater Anointing (GA). Dana’s experience as a musician and co-producer with the group catapulted his musical ability to a distinguished level beyond simply playing, and was the impetus that enabled him to segue from musician to arranger, and ultimately, to producer.

Dana continues to contribute a vibrant sound to gospel music by producing and co-writing with Gospel’s next generation. In XXX, he made the decision to partner with Monica Coates and EJ Gaines of Motown Gospel. Under this label, he has co-written and produced songs with artists such as Gene Moore and Brian Courtney Wilson, some of which have even become Billboard Gospel Radio number 1 songs (“Still,” “Sure As,” etc.). He has also collaborated with Stephanie Wilkinson of Red Alliance Media/Fair Trade to produce gospel superstar Maranda Curtis’ chart-topping albums, “The Maranda Experience,” “Open Heaven,” and “Maranda Presents: A Holy Christmas.”

As a result of God’s favor and Dana’s hard work and passion for music, he has acquired Grammy and Stellar award nominations and is a two-time Dove award winner. More specifically, Dana earned Dove and Stellar nominations for Producer of the Year in 2018, 2019 and 2022. He was also afforded the opportunity to work alongside world-renowned Gospel producer, Aaron Lindsey, on both Marvin Sapp’s hit records, “Thirsty” and “Here I Am.” Dana has also produced and co-written Gospel hit records with long-time friend, Jason Nelson. These include the top-charting records, “Shifting the Atmosphere,” “Nothing Without You,” “I Am,” “Forever” and “Close.” Along the way, Dana and Jason have also received a few highly notable ASCAP Song-Writer awards.

Dana puts most of his energy into expanding his full-house production companies, C Bazz Entertainment and C Blake Studios. Dana’s exclusive studio in Delaware is known as an oasis for creativity. Dana has also done programming and stage coaching for Christian artists, such as the #1 Top Christian artist, Francesca Battistelli, Love and the Outcome and About a Mile, to mention a few. His work includes R&B Boys II Men’s “Bounce, Shake, Move, Swing” which was chosen to be the theme song for the first season of hit Tyra Banks show, “America’s Next Top Model.”

Dana has always taken his music seriously and is very passionate about inspiring others to achieve their goals within the music industry. This passion led him to create a mentoring, educational online platform called the StayHomeMoney Movement designed to help guide musicians, singers, and songwriters.

Dana’s discography also includes cuts with Eric Roberson (“Hear From Here” “The Box”), Jason Nelson (“Close” “The Answer”), HLE (“Take Heart”), Brian Courtney Wilson (“Transitions” “Still”), Trilogy (“Blank Script” “Favorite Time of Year”), Juanita Francis ( “You Are With Me” “Surrounded” “I Got My Wings’), Deon Kipping (“Sound of The Believer”), Gene Moore (“Tunnel Vision”), (Kaleo (“Way Down We Go” “A/B”) and the compilation albums “Hitsville: A Motown Gospel Celebration” and “A Motown Gospel Christmas,” among others.
